2015 Acura TLX consumer reviews

I love my car from exterior to interior. It’s sporty classy & sexy you can’t beat that. On gas it’s amazing very economical. I bought my car in 2015 when the new model was introduced best decision I made.

I was looking to trade in my 2009 Acura TL for a newer 2015 TLX. I owned my TL for 8 years and it was the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Acura and Hondas are known for their reliability, and my TL did not disappoint. I did absolutley nothing to the vehicle besides oil changes and tires in my 8 years of ownership. It was time to upgrade, so I found a 1 owner clean carfax 2015 TLX AWD with 22k miles and was excited to trade up. The delership (Cadillac) let me take the vehicle over a weekend to decide and I am so thankful they did. This year and model had some serious transmission and electrical system issues. The car shifted erratically as if it could not decide what gear to stay in, lunged forward when decelerating, and almost killed me when it threw itself into a "failsafe" mode (neutral) forcing me to put the car in park and back into drive to be able to accelerate again. Also, the automatic engine off at stop lights and signs for fuel economy was extremley annoying and delayed acceleration. This mode could be turned off, but you had to hit a button each time you started the car to deactivate. After the car threw itself into neutral in the middle of a busy intersection a third time, I drove it back to the dealership and asked for the keys to my vehicle back. I explained to the salesman that it was a beautiful car, but there are serious issues that should be reported to Acura. I count my blessings I was able to take it for a real honest test drive and not just around the block prior to purchase. Do yourselves a favor and drive this year/model for a day before you sign the papers.

Bad transmission and no support at all from the dealership. The reviews were horrible. I bought it new and traded for another Maxima after having driven it for only 12,000 miles.

The car meets all my wants and needs. It has a spacious interior with leather seats. There are two separate screens, one for audio and one for navigation. There are more safety features than any other car I’ve been in (lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, back up camera, front collision detection, etc), the car rides smooth and runs perfect!

Compre mi 2015 TLX AVANCE con 19000 millas. A las 30 mil millas prendio todas las luces del tablero indicando que todo funcionaba mal y la transmision perdio fuerza. Cuando el dealer lo revisa me dice que fue un problema de sensores y resulven dicho problema. Luego comenzaron aparecer sintomas de transmision y a las 50 mil millas otra vez prede todas las luces y lo retorno al dealer. El Dealer encontro un codigo que indicaba un grave problema de transmision. Como usted pueden imaginar lo fustrante que es un carro con apenas 50 mil milla dando problema de esta categoria. Lo positivo en todo esto es que el dealer que le compré el carro todo el tiempo me dieron un buen servicio y con la garantia hicieron el cambio de transmision sin ningun costo $$. No recomiendo ningun vehiculo que use la transmicion de 9 velocidades del 2015 TLX.

Sluggish. I had a 2007 Acura TLS before this one and I wish I never traded it in. Maybe the next generation will prove otherwise.

I was looking for another car because my lease was up and came across this Acura TLX and it has been awesome so far and is in nearly perfect condition. Whomever owned it prior hardly drove it and must have been garaged. It still smells new inside and drives nice and smooth and quiet. I found that Sarasota Ford had a huge inventory even more than what you see on the lot and online.

The cruise control and lane assistance features makes every long distance trip comfortable and safe. Never had any problems with it. Would definitely recommend anyone to go for it without a second thought.

The car drives well and do have a lot of leg room, it is very stylish and hugs the curbs. It accelerates quickly to a speed limits.
