Stands out from the crowd

by Ron from Naples, FL on Wed Dec 28 2016

You drive this car to stand out from all the other bland vehicles on the road. This car is 3 years old and the modern styling is definitely unique. MPG is rather poor though, I am averaging about 16.

Very unique and fun to drive car

by NutMix from California on Mon Dec 05 2016

You don't see many of these cars on the road (only about 7000 were ever made). Ride height is like an SUV but handles like a sports coupe. Hugs corners very well and is a blast to drive. Pros: Unique exterior styling, very comfortable interior, high tech gadgets, Honda reliability, quick. Cons: Limited headroom for both front and rear passengers. Getting into the rear is somewhat challenging. Marginal mpg. Limited rear and blind spot visibility (but has 3 view backup camera and blind spot monitoring system). Expensive.

Very rare and amazing looking vehicle!

by RareCollector from Chicago, IL on Sat Apr 01 2017

If you found a good one, just buy it. Its only built from 2010-2013, very rare! And still looking better than any new cars now!

Expensive but fun to drive

by zdxy from Las Vegas, NV on Tue Dec 13 2016

2013 is a huge upgrade from the previous years, in my opinion, the addition of power folding mirrors and front/back up sensors should have been standard on a vehicle that costs almost $60,000. Nevertheless, it is a blast to drive and has a roaring engine when it's floored.

Slow acceleration but still fun

by Chester from Los Angeles, CA on Sun Jul 23 2017

Feels like car lacks initial acceleration, sometimes need to really step on it to get it going fast. Other than that, very fun to drive. Materials are quality are top notch.

WORST CAR EVER.

by Billy from on Sun Oct 18 2015

The battery died at 63,000 miles. This car is unacceptable. I just don't like this car anymore. I brung it back a few seconds ago with my other car, a 2013 Volvo XC90.

Our Take on the 2013 Acura ZDX

The Acura ZDX's wild looks draw stares from young and old, but the flash can't cover up the fact that this SUV is impractical and, worse yet, not that fun to drive.

These unfortunate attributes are likely the reason the ZDX has failed to sell well since it was introduced as a 2010 model, and why it will no longer be built after the last 2013s leave dealer lots.

Are there redeeming qualities about the ZDX? Yes, but as I discovered during my time with it, as much as I wanted to love this strange beast, it let me down … often.
