Audi A3 Prestige

The Audi A3 Prestige is their top of the line for that model. While is drives great and is very comfortable, it lags a few options that you would think are standard these days. For example, there is no memory seat recall, which means you have to adjust everything (seat positions, mirrors, etc.) for each driver. In addition, there is no home link button for the garage door. Certainly this is not that big of a deal but the memory seat truly is. This is a vehicle that has almost every option you could want (heated seats, blind spot detection, rain sensing wipers, etc.) but no memory seat. The quattro all-wheel drive is wonderful and the car handles like a well-made vehicle. This is a entry level luxury car and I bought it as such, so don't expect it to handle like an Audi A6 would, the feel is not the same, so know what you are buying. The other interior options are very impressive and the sound system is by far the best I have ever heard in a car. The engine has plenty of power and the car accelerates with ease. Braking and handling are also fantastic. Overall the Audi A3 is a well built entry level luxury car that has lots of options (minus a few important ones that should be standard theses days).

Well made.

Like the vehicle. After owning a bmw, I think you get more bang for your buck withe the audi. The 2.0 turbo has power but saves on gas. I have the Quattro which is all wheel drive

Audi just does it right.

My Audi A3 convertible is awesome. Comfortable, quiet, and fast. All the technology just works, very intuitive. I love the blind spot warning system and the navigation is one of the better ones I've experienced without being too complicated.

Great affordable luxury vehicle

This review is for the a3 premium plus model. I would recommend spending the extra money for the premium plus as opposed to just the premium. It has all the bells and whistles you shouldn't have to live without. With that being said, I love it! It's comfortable, speedy, stylish and durable. The interior is very high quality and advanced for a 2015 model. The car tells you everything you need to know, i.e., when you need an oil change, if your tire pressure is low, if the gas gap isn't screwed on tight enough, etc.. you can also reset the oil change and tire pressure sensors yourself. There's options on the screen on how to do that. I came from a 2003 Honda, so this was all a MAJOR upgrade for Me. The seats are very comfortable for long drives, they're all automatic along with the windows. The sunroof reaches all the way to the back seat so you get a lot of air and sun when opened. The only thing I don't care too much for is the space, granted this an a3 which is one of their smaller models. However, there's not much room to put my keys, phone, coffee ect.. it's really just a cup holder area. The glove department is alao relatively small, but ultimately it's not a deal breaker for me. The exterior is fantastic. The front and rear bumpers are lined with heavy duty plastic (Not sure of the exact blend or type) so if you bump into something, odds are you won't chip the paint. The side mirrors have sensors and lane assist so you I don't hit anything in your blind spot. Hmmm what else.. I'm sure I could go into more excruciating detail, but I'll save you all the novel. At the end of the day, this vehicle is awesome. It's computer is sensitive to very minor things; The check engine light came on a week after I bought it, and so I took it into the dealership just for them to tell me the gas cap wasn't screwed on tight enough lol it's great that it makes the driver aware, but that's why I put 4 stars. It can just be a bit inconvenient having to go to the dealership for every little thing. Other than that, I would highly recommend.

A3 Review

The Audi A3 is a great car. It is so much fun to drive and a great value. I was worried about the cabin being too small and cramped. But, there is plenty of room for a comfortable ride in the front seats. The leg room in the back seats appears to be limited, but I did not purchase this car to transport 3 or 4 adults.

Good driving, lacks tech features = low value

Driving is smooth, and that's the best thing I can say about this car. Acceleration is not great, interior feels good but not luxurious, and technology is not good (standard items like rear view camera are only available at higher cost so in a comparison against other brands Audi loses). Their MMI infosystem works erratically, it's not fast and even when it's graphically rich, it's not functionally rich. And the Value for the money is definitely not there. It was great to have the car for 36 months to become truly familiar with it and appreciate Audi service (top notch!) but it really is not for me (I prefer to pay less for the fancy location of the dealer and more for the car itself, which I don't think happens with Audi. Mediocre car with high price)
