Fun car to drive

This car still looks great for an 02 and drives like new. I still like this car over my other 2 new ones. I would recommend the 3.0L v6 as it has more power than the smaller turbo engine and is must less money to maintain. The only drawback is that Audi dealer service in NJ is horrible. They do not konw what they are doing and charge 3X what they should. I now use a local German car mechanic and pay next to nothing for quality repairs. Over 3 years, mine depreciated only $5. Good value.

Electricial nightmare

My husband and I bought an '02 Audi in Nov '06 thinking we were getting a reliable car that we would be able to do regular maintance and enjoy. Little did we know that days after we brought it home the fun would really begin. 1st thing to go brake light switch, leak in the windshield wiper fluid, coils going without warning, needs a new radio, and last but not least fuel gauge sending unit failed. Needless to say we are SELLING IT!!!! The Audi is out-of-here!!! It is a nice looking car that handles really well but that's the only benefits it has going for it.

A4 Q 1.8t

Got this one brand new in 2002, and have never looked back. Other than the few minor electrical glitches that seem to forever haunt all Audi's, this one was one for the record books. A very safe vehicle, it also wants to be driven. It hugs the driver in all the right places, and when needed, the engine and powertrain respond in a flash. I am very happy to say that I love this car.

Great Car!

Bought this car used and love it. No problems, nice handling, good features, and nice styling. Only a few minor scratches on it when i bought it but nothing that big of a deal. If you want a sporty audi get an a4.

Excellent car.

This car is buy far the nicest car I've ever owned. The exterior stlying is beautiful and the 3.0L V6 is a must have for the times you want to really go fast. I also have the black on black all leather interior, which is gorgeous and goes great with the clean glossy jet-black paintjob. Highly recommend this vehicle.

Never buy Audi's

i bought my Audi A4 Quattro 3.0 used. that is not the first time ive bought a used vechicle. the A4 turns out to be the worst peice of machinery ive ever owned. every other week i have to take it to the dealership; to get something fixed. the parts are so rare to get from the after-market. very very unreliable car. good power and handling though. my quattro system is highly impressive; although the electrical components and the equipment is highly unreliable. do not buy Audi's; buy BMW instead.

great car, just too many problems

I owned this car for about a year and a half. it rides great, looks great and I love all the features it has. Too bad, it has multiple break downs and the cost of repair is through the roof. I had a catalytic converter go back which in turn made my temperature and oxygen sensors go bad. Now the check engine light has gone on again and I am afriad of the same problems or worse. The sunroof also has a mind of its own, it opens up while you are driving down the road, sometimes closing and other times just staying open. I am getting rid of it because of the amount of money it needs to keep running. Too bad becasue I love every else about the car.

My first Audi...

My wife and I purchased our 1st Audi several months ago. I love driving the car, however, it's extremely exspensive to get even the most minor repair done - $800 for a belt change! Ours seems to have problems with the coolant system leaking - pretty important in 40 below weather here in Alaska. It's a great car, but make sure you have the money to fix whatever breaks. Buy the extended warranty if you get a used one.

Loved it

Very nice car overall. The ride is very smooth with the sport suspension and it seems to glide on the freeway. Handling is very nice as well. One cupholder in the front is an annoyance, but doable. Other than the high cost of the 60,000 mile service, I have no complaints from this vehicle, very nice. I've recommended it to my friends of which two have purchased one and are also very happy.
