Audi A4 2.0 Turbo CVT
When I purchased this car in 2005 I was extremely happy with the new aggressive styling and the large grill that has redefined Audi in recent times. Most impressively, the Gas mileage on this car improved significantly as I drove past the 5000 mile mark. I would get more than 34MPG on my drives from Boston to NY. The car has very comfortable seats and the contemporary leather wrap steering wheel is very easy to grip and great for long drives. The car has quite a few added features such as under seat retractable storage bins and easy cupholders within reach. The interior is very high quality - with plastics, leather and stitching that rivals any other higher end luxury car. Interior is fairly quiet and the CVT transmission took some getting used to at first but after driving this car for some time, you'd never want to go back to an ordinary car with an ordinary transmission. It has a 7 speed CVT transmission . The only other car that has one more "gear" is the 8 speed new Lexus LS which costs thousands more. Overall this car is an extremely good buy especially during these times when great MPG and luxury are so hard to find in the same car.

Grandma car not for grandmas anymore!!
Well, since before the purchase of my 2007 Fwd A4 2.0T with a MT6 in March of '07 I've always had an appeal for the look and performance of Volkswagen Audi cars. I traded my 1.8T GTI for what people were calling a boring 4 door family sedan. Let my tell you. Looks may look deceiving, yes, the styling on the "non-S-line" version is not aggressive at all but hey it still packs a strong of a punch. The 2.0T with its F.S.I. direct injection technology is a great combo. You not get a larger displacement engine, more torque, more power, less turbo lag and surprisingly better fuel economy. That is just amazing by it self. The interior is astonishing, there is not enough I can say about the quality of build and materials used. I love the leather seats, the Instrument panel is out of this world and the aluminum trim is quite satisfying to touch. Now remember, its a 4 door car in which it has a larger and more comfortable seating arrangement than my '02 VW GTI; -which means it should weigh more and feel less nimble and slower. It does weigh more but it is amazingly more stable and has a lighter handling feel due to the 6 link suspension and the added power. Ok, so now if you're a nut like myself and want more from your auto, then one word of advise. CHIP! Yes, an ECU re-flash will make you fall in love with your car all over again. Mine now has a dyno proven 236whp and 311wtq. THATS OVER 300ft/lbs. Also a coil over suspension will help you put that extra power to the ground reducing that front lift upon mashing the pedal. When driven lightly I've seen an improvement in fuel economy as well. Stock my A4 was averaging about 25mpg city and 32mpg hwy. Now its b/w 28mpg city and 37mpg hwy(of course at the speed limit and in 6th gear driving very conservatively) you CVT owners will see higher numbers due to having a 7th gear selection in tiptronic mode. Well thats all for now hope this review has been of help. Be safe and pass on the love of driving.

Best Value in Speed, Safety, Comfort, and Quality
Dollar for dollar, the Audi A4 is the best value among the luxury German autos. I purchased a 2007 A4 (Phantom Black Pearl Effect with black leather) in February and have been incredibly pleased. With the 2.0T engine under the hood (named "Engine of the Year" for the last two years), punching the pedal will pin you against the back of your seat. The Audi's Tiptronic transmission allows you drive in three modes: normal auto for best fuel economy; sequential clutchless manual for complete control; and sport auto for redline-pushing high acceleration. I love it when a guy in a souped-up rice burner pulls up next to me at a light. I switch it down to sport auto, wait for the light to turn, and then get the pleasure of waving bye in my rearview mirror. With the sport suspension package, the A4 handles very well. Even in tight fast corners, I'm able to maintain control and confidence without touching the brakes. Speaking of brakes, this car will stop on a dime when asked. Audi's Electronic Stability Program coupled with the quattro system keeps me in complete control. On the interstate, it's very easy to open it up and let the car run. I've set the onboard computer to warn me when I exceed 100 MPH. I've caught myself cruising at well over 90 while thinking that I'm doing just 70. (Be careful.) The ride is very smooth even at high speeds. This is amazing considering that my A4 has a sports suspension. Audi is known for the best interior quality and design in the auto industry. The A4 is a very tight car built to high tolerances. The doors close with a commanding thump. The interior controls and displays are state of the art. The leather seats are very comfortable even during long trips. Lastly, the A4 was given the IIHS's Top Safety Pick Award this year. It leads the midsize class in front, side, and rear crash tests. With two kids, safety is important to me. (Of course, I don't speed when they're in the car with me.) Needless to say, I'm proud of my Audi A4. I like its simple understated styling. Highly recommended if you're looking to buy a well-engineered European automobile without breaking the bank.

Fun and prcatical
I purchased this vehicle new and have been amazed by the amount of power from a 4 cyl. I got the 6spd manual and feel it is an excellent combination with this motor to take up any slack from the slight amount of turo lag generater from the little 2.0L. The interior is near perfection, everything is laid out correctly and the ergonomics are 2nd to none. Overall this is a great sports sedan that can still tote around the family with exceptional safety and piece of mind.

Brings the fun back to driving!
Love this car. I traded in my 2002 1.8T for the 2007 2.0 (both manual) and couldn't be happier. Car is responsive and gets even better gas mileage than the 1.8T predecessor. Interior is quiet, sound system is awesome, and people marvel at the size of the trunk when they see it. Only thing I would change is the climate control - never been a fan of the dual zone idea. If you need a good snow car - do not hesitate to buy this car over an SUV.

Best car I've ever owned.
My A4 is a great car, and It's quick. I have the 2.0 Turbo, and it is a fun ride. The gas millage is better than the BMW 3 series, and offers a more comfortable ride, especially for long trips. I am a huge beleiver in all wheel drive, and the A4 demonstrates "quattro" well. Plenty of room in this car, and in the trunk. It was a great buy, and has not had a single problem and is still under warranty. Overall, It is a great car in eveery aspect, a real Benz and Bimmer beater

Best made cars on earth
I purchased my new 2007 Audi A4 3.2 V6 with the 6 speed manual. The Audi beats out all the competition and is a much better car than any lexus. Time and time again i will have to show lexus who the boss is when im at a red light and some guy in an IS 250 thinks he's hot stuff. the Audi A4 puts the Japanese posers to sleep.I am very happy with the Audi.

Peace in a Noisy World
Our 1997 Audi A4 had served us well, but after spending early years at university, followed by stints in New York City, Boulder and San Francisco, the cost of repairs defined the economic advantage to a new car. Audi creates a tempting design and size in the A4, but reliablity rating from automobile experts and our experience with the 1997 drove us to lease rather than purchase. Our 2007 A4 Quattro with tiptronic is similar to the decade earlier car, but with some distinct differences. The most notable change is how quiet the cabin is: peace in a noisy world. My concern is that I may not hear emergency sirens; yes, the sound proofing is that good. That problem has never existed in our 1989 Jeep. Second most notable improvement is the driving position: one sits higher and with the placement of switch gear, the feeling is 'one with one'; car and driver together and in command. Downside: the steering wheel feels rubbery, despite the leather wrap. A recent report that automobile steering wheels have more germs than a toilet seat left me longing for a wood steering wheel. Who might benefit from LEASING an Audi A4: those looking for a high quality sedan, for performance driving, for a car to put a smile on their face whenever they drive.
