2018 Audi A5 consumer reviews

I bought this car as a lease return and could not be happier. Not only did we get a great value, but with the S Line options and B&O stereo the ride is as enjoyable as any car I have driven. Quattro and 2.0 turbo are a perfect power to transmission ratio and holds curves and up/downhill as well as my TT Roadster. Definitely sold on this Audi.

love the car, this is my third one. My only complaint is I had to replace my Hankook summer tires at 11000 miles. I love the way the cardrives, great mix of engineering and luxary

I chose the A5 Sportback version. It has great versatility and it drives like dream. Great handling but not harsh. I love the drive select options depending on the situation. The premium plus level hits the spot with new tech but no too much driver interference which can masquerade as safety options. Oh, and golf clubs fit easily in the back!

I have owned it for 2 years. I was hesitant to get it, as AUDI had reliability issues in the past. So far so good. Quiet, comfortable for what it is, stylish, great handling and power for a 4 cylinder turbo. It is a great touring sedan with a practical hatch. Comfortable front seats and adequate room in the back. The infotainment system is just right. The only weak points are below average ingress and egress and storage. I am very pleased so far.

Have owned all types of vehicles over the years from Acuras, Infinitis, Corvette and this is my first Audi and would rank it in the Top 3

Car looks and drives great, the driving modes are a fantastic option. Super comfortable, it’s 2 doors and sits low so getting in and out could be a challenge but I love driving this car.

Like the S line Package , very disappointing in the navigation , great fuel mileage with good performance , not a big fan of the run flat tires

Awesome car. Quiet, lots of power, holds tons of stuff. Really like the sport back design. Would love to have the RS5 next!!! Great gas mileage too. Average about 30.5 so far.

We bought the A5 sportback, which aside from looking better than the coupe also provides excellent trunk space due to the hatch design. The interior looks exactly like it’s A4 cousin with slightly lesser headroom for the backseat. The drive is moderately sporty due to the 2.0 turbo and the usual very sanitized Audi drive. Depending on what you seek in terms of performance the S5 offers upgraded drivetrain and brakes but also provides a smooth driving experience. It’s materially different from AMG’s more aggressive approach to performance. The exhaust note on both the A5 and S5 remain subdued. We’ve had significant issues with the software and it seems to plague Audi across models and years as we’ve had friends who’s had their cars end up being inoperable due to software issues. When it does work it seems well designed, albeit a bit overwhelming to the point I’m not sure the dealership even is aware of all the features. Overall a sleek and versatile car.

the best deal in its class. only comparison was bmw4 which didn't have air cooled seats. never got to price, but used same dealer with great service and knowledgeable sales person for 4th 5 series.
