Best Car ever Owned

by DKs sports car from Toledo, Oio on Thu May 28 2020

This car with Air suspension is like driving a luxury large sedan in the comfort mode. But with more power and better handling with a smaller foot print for parking. Change the driving mode to sport and you have a sports car. Change to allroad or offroad and you you can go on some old country roads at slower speeds. Its like having 3 cars on one.

Review and cover all your questions

by Davis G from Kenosha, WI on Tue Mar 31 2020

Vehicle is responsive and performs well. It rides as you would expect for a models "sports" version, slightly stiff but comfortable. There are a few areas that need to be brought up that might be an issue for some. The breaking system grinds and I was informed by the dealer this is to be expected due to upgraded breaks. This vehicle has an automatic engine shut off when coming to a stop, there is a button to turn it off but you would think the set up the other way around since it is a "sport" model. Which brings us to making sure you cover all your questions, common sense would state a vehicle that shows a dual exhaust system would actually function as one. This is not the case with the SQ5 it only works on a partial basis. There is a cut off switch in the system that only works under certain circumstances. Again make sure to cover your desired attributes of performance, disappointed in expectations for how this sports vehicle provides the overall experience.

Fourth Audi

by Jerry Porter from Rochester MN on Fri Sep 25 2020

Excited to "learn" its updated features. Feels familiar to drive as I've had a 2011 Q5 for 10 years. Quantum Grey is a stunning beautiful color. This is probably my last "new" car and I'm adoring the experience.

Our Take on the 2020 Audi SQ5

The verdict:

Like that ever-so-versatile wardrobe must-have, the Little Black Dress, the 2018 Audi SQ5 is both elegant and everyday, sporty and stylish — though its price is too couture for my closet.

Versus the competition:

The SQ5 combines utility, luxury and excitement more deftly than others, and although its price is high in the Q5 lineup, it’s more affordable than its luxury performance SUV rivals.

The SQ5 is the performance-oriented version of Audi’s Q5 SUV; both models were redesigned for 2018 with additional room and updated powertrains. The Q5 competes against the likes of the BMW X3, Porsche Macan and Mercedes-Benz GLC (compare them). The SQ5’s main competitors are the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 and Porsche Macan GTS (compare them).

Mild Hides Wild

The SQ5’s rounded curves and stately face are polished but hardly exciting; the thrill comes from under the hood. The car vaults off the line and stays strong after just a trace of turbo lag. The turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 is good for 354 horsepower and 369 pounds-feet of torque — a bit more torque than the previous SQ5’s supercharged... Read More
