This was a custom ordered Bentayga that had everything that I would have ordered myself. It exceeded all of my needs, wants and expectations and beautifully built.

This is the most sensible Bentley

Very comfortable with all the creature comforts. Bought the Maserati Levante at 1/3 the cost. Will look at 3 year old Bentaygas in 2020 when they are around $120K at that price, they are worth it. Let someone else take the $180K+ depreciation hit. Wow!

Our Take on the 2017 Bentley Bentayga

The verdict:

The new 2017 Bentley Bentayga is a multitalented ultraluxury SUV that's just as at ease tiptoeing down steep off-road descents as it is hustling around a racetrack, all the while coddling passengers in its richly appointed cabin.

Versus the competition:

The Bentayga is currently the only SUV available from an ultraluxury brand. While it's possible to buy a Land Rover Range Rover or Porsche Cayenne that costs six figures, this Bentley starts at a lofty $231,825, including a $2,725 destination charge, which puts it in an altogether different class that's poised to grow with new SUVs from the likes of Rolls-Royce, Maserati and Lamborghini on the horizon.

Consumers can't get enough SUVs at the moment, but there haven't been any ultraluxury ones until now. The Bentayga looks to capitalize on this drought because it's not as if ultraluxury shoppers don't appreciate SUVs. On the contrary; Bentley's U.S. President and CEO Michael Winkler said average Bentley owners have five vehicles in their household, two of which are luxury SUVs.

The 2017 Bentayga shares its platform with the redesigned 2017 Audi Q7 (Bentley and Audi are Volkswagen subsidiaries). The two SUVs have different styling and powertrains, and the Bentayga's unpainted unibody structure is shipped to Bentley's factory in Crewe, England, for final assembly. The... Read More
