Ultraluxury automaker Bentley was founded in 1919 and is headquartered in Crewe, England. It’s owned by the Volkswagen Group, which purchased Bentley in 1998. The storied brand has managed to shake off its formerly stodgy image thanks to a raft of new models in recent years beginning with the introduction of the 2004 Continental GT sports coupe. Today, the Continental GT is also offered as a soft-top convertible. Bentley was the first ultraluxury brand to enter the SUV market with the 2017 Bentayga, and for 2020, it introduced the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid, a plug-in hybrid. Other models include the Flying Spur and Mulsanne sedans.
