Like died and went to heaven

I never owned a BMW until about 5 years ago. I started with an E36 M3. It got old and I needed something newer. The 135i is a car of my dreams. Interior & exterior design great! Comfort features I never could have imagined. And it goes like a rocket.

Most Fun Car I have Had

There are known problems that all 135i drivers must fix. Water pump at 80,000, cam shaft actuator, hpfp and maybe a few more. But put a tune on this car with a little e85, and I personally want nothing else. It is so fun. I added exhaust, charge pipe, oil cooler, carbon fiber intake, jb4 and I’m at 479hp in a small car. I love it.

Power, Comfort, Excitement!!! And yes, FUN!!!!

After owning 7 BMW's, I thought I wanted a Z4. Drove it, not for me. Then I found an '08 135i Convertible with 47K miles. Pristine, 1 owner, garage kept with all the records. How lucky can a BMW Guy get. This was the best kept secret in the line-up. Why(?), who knows. Power, Comfort, Excitement. It's got it all. They're getting hard to find as I searched the nation, but was lucky enough to find one in my backyard. Give it a drive, you'll be amazed. Then you'll want the "1".

The 135i is really exciting

Coming out of an E36 M3 I wanted something "not large" that still retained all the performance of the M3. The 135i is truly comfortable and has all the luxury features, yet still goes like the hammers of xxxx. It's amazing!

Most fun car I've owned

This thing is hell on wheels. It's 10 years old and is still one of the most fun cars on the road. I absolutely love every second of it. The acceleration, handling, comfort, and even the sound of it is incredible. I bought a new 2018 i3s and love the way the electric car feels, but every time I sink into the sports seats on the i3 and feel the responsive steering and pedals I'm ready to go.

Can't decide on a replacement

I have had my 2009 135i M package for 7 years and put on 100k as a daily driver. Even though it is almost 10 years old, it is tight, powerful and very fun to drive. I cannot think of what should replace it, if the maintenance begins to climb. Currently excellent reliability and feel make it a very satisfying ride. Stock except for replacing RFTs with Conti DWS.

Great driver's car, but heavy on maintenance

I owned this car for almost two years and had a blast driving it. Very quick and responsive. Only downside was the maintenance and upkeep. Several items will wear out as you drive the car and must be repaired or replaced to avoid further problems. Find a good local mechanic that specializes in BMW, because the dealership will charge you double!

Best driving car I have owned.

Extremely fun car to drive. The 135 is a solid performance car with a strong twin turbo engine that just keeps pulling. True feeling of connectedness to the road.
