No questions when it comes to power and comfort enough room for everything plenty of leg space this car made me fall in love with BMW my first Beamer but definitely not my last

I bought my 1997 740iL about 6 months ago and immediately fell in love with it. I had to do some minor restoration work since i bought the car for only $2500, but I also put about $10,000 in upgrades into it. In my opinion, its the perfect car, it has the speed and drivability of a coupe, with the space of a minivan. The only sad part is the suspension is really messed up (completely my fault) and its going to be a boat load of money to repair, so I'm going to buy a 2001 740iL to take its place because I love the 7 series too much.

With few words is the best car I ever driven. Much power, very good performance, good balanced on curves, high comfort. I will never change this car......

Theres nothing like leaving that brand new sports car next to you on the highway in the dust. Thats what you get with this car. Along with the luxury and BMW name. I love driving this car.. You get a sense of security, comfort, and confidence you don't always find in cars now and days. At 190K miles, it still drives quieter than ever (knock on wood!) yet i'm sad to say that due to a major computer problem that causes the "Service Engine Soon" Light to come on at random, I must get rid of it by next inspection to avoid paying thousands of dollars to get it fixed. Nonetheless, though, its the greatest car I've ever driven.

The 7 Series is the BMW flagship, and it does not disappoint in any way. Styling, power, performance, luxury, technology and safety are all there. More sporty to the feel and drivability than Mercedes, or Lexus with creature comforts all around. The cockpit feels like a driver's starship. Even at 10 years of age, this car is still a wonder to drive and to own. It receives compliments whenever I drive. I personally prefer the E38 body to the newer versions, it is a perfected quantity built solidly and well. After a few minutes behind the wheel you will KNOW why it is called the Ultimate Driving Machine!! I would never own a different brand from this point on. Thank you BMW.!

I've owned my 740il scence it was bought off the lot and i've got to tell ya that i love every part of it. i've had to deal with some minor upkeep (some of which may have been my fault) but other than that the car has been a great car. great for road trips, freeway demon, just all around great luxury car.
