2006 BMW 760 consumer reviews

These were +$120,000 cars when new. I bought my 2007 in 2011 with less than 35,000 on the ODO. I took meticulous care of this vehicle. Once I hit 60,000 I had nothing but problems with it. The dealer was helpful and did their best to accommodate the issues but after the 5th trip to the dealer for engine problems, I threw in the towel. Do yourself a favor - stay away from these 760s.

After a mere 100,000 miles, my 2006 BMW 760 li developed an engine problem that could not be properly diagnosed by either my local dealer with help from service technicians at BMW North America. The problem centered on the variable valve timing on the V-12 engine. I ended up junking the car. It still looked like new at the time it entered the junk yard. Stay away from BMW unless you don't mind getting burned. I would never consider another BMW. A Nissan Versa, the least expensive car available today, can accumulate 3 times as many miles in it's lifetime than could my BMW 760 li.

Finest Automobile I have ever owned. Everything else pales in comparison. A 760 Li will spoil you for life. You will never want to own anything else. After starting, the side wings of the driver and front passenger seat inflate to ensconce you with firm but comfortable support, letting you know immediately that this fine automobile is something else altogether.

Where do I start.......Driving a 760 is like sitting in a theater & watching your favorite movie! The ride is so relaxing you almost forget that you're behind the wheel of a powerful 12, yes that's right, 12 cylinder engine with nearly 450 horses!!! This vehicle is truly the ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE! The exterior with it's smooth lines & curves and an interior you would die for! All the creature comforts at your finger tips. You owe it to yourself to own one or at least drive one!!!

Excellent all-around car and surprisingly quick and sporty for big, luxurious sedan that pulls so smoothly that it is deceptively fast.

I expected the v12 to be a bit more explosive, but honestly -It's pretty quick for a big car and still brings a grin quite often. Otherwise, it's the greatest sedan I''ve ever driven.
