2012 Alpina B7 2wd Short Base

Always wanted an E39 M5 after driving a friends from the paddock at Indianapolis Motor Speedway back St.Louis in 2hrs and 40 min. I lucked out and found a 2012 B7 short base 2wd this year. 35k miles for 35k. It will crush anything on the highway. Unreal handling in the twisys. It is incredible... 200mph limo. Unbelievable automobile. Fit, finish and performance are superior to any 750. If you can find a certified one from a BMW dealer, buy it. Alpina will no longer be independent in a few years, gobbled up by BMW. Don't buy an M series. It's now a computerized soccer mom car. Addendum, do not buy if you live in a heavy pot hole area, the 21 inch Michelin sidewalls do not like it.

Alpina delight

This is what a true German Luxury car is all about. The handling, power, grace and attitude all meet seamlessly in this machine. I love the looks that I get when driving as most quickly realize that this is no ordinary BMW. The raw power is absolutely deceiving as this is a huge car. When you want to merge into traffic you have to be mindful as you WILL exceed the speed limit rapidly. I love this car as does my family. I'm glad that there are a limited amount of them in the nation as even the dealership eyes light up when I drive in for routine maintenance.

I simply love this car

This was a serious upgrade for me and worth every penny and every year and mile that I have owned and driven it. It is a serious step up from a regular 7 series in every way, but especially with regards to handling, power and comfort.
