When the temperature is above 70, the car puts itself in
When the temperature is above 70, the car puts itself in neutral. This is dangerous and inconvenient, as we can not use the car in the spring and summer. This is the BMW 2003 M3 SMG transmission.

Always Been my Dream Car
I fell in love with the E46 M3 back in the days of high school. The styling, the handling, the aggressive fenders -- it was something to drool over at the time and age. I could not be any more proud of happy to own this car.

Screams German Engineering
This mid 90's M3 is a true German instant classic! This 2003 coupe dressed out in German racing silver, interior wrapped in black leather. Generous sunroof. But what is fun is under the hood, one of the finest 3 liter screaming in line six's ever built without a turbo mated to a silky 6 speed manual transmission. Wonderful handling, thrilling to drive, 13 years of pure fun! I miss it already.

The last true sports car.
Beautiful animal on the road. High maintainence. Dont buy it for speed alone, plenty of turbo cars can beat it - but none can match the elegance and smoothness with which the m3 presents the speed.

///M Life
I've owned my 2003 E46 M3 for just over 3 years and I've been satisfied ever since taking delivery. I have an SMG transmission model which historically takes a lot of heat due to failure or other mechanical related problems. I conducted extensive research prior to purchasing mine and had a dealership inspection performed. I've had a few preventive maintenance items addressed to assure full driving enjoyment. I highly recommend although do your research on condition mileage ( some highway miles is not bad), engine condition and mechanical wear, belts, interior wear and overall condition and electric functionality of all systems.

When you're kid, this is the car you dream of.
When I was a kid, I used to dream of owning the legendary M series. The thought of BMW?s acclaimed line of super coupes left me yearning to feel the thrill and pride of being behind the wheel of one of those benchmark M?s and the M to have, was the M3. 333 horse power at 7900 rpm, the mechanical brassy exhaust note of the inline 3.2 liter 6 cylinder engine. The way the car hugged the road, shooting out of corners in its collected stance, tires digging into the gravel for traction. Years of experimenting and making countless adjustment after innumerable laps of the infamous Nurburgring. To create a near perfect balance between driver and car, one which encourages confidence and lets you misbehave, but is always there to catch you. To the point, I love my M, even as I write this I feel that bit of grief every car owner experiences when letting go of something truly special. This M needs a bit of TLC, I know the feared three letters of any car buyer. The reason I?m placing her on the market is because at this time, it?s out of my budget to properly care for her. I know though whoever she goes to will find the same joy I did each time I drove her. Taking in each initial rev as the engine comes to life, feeling the cold leather of the steering wheel underneath each finger wrapped around the stock, one laced by thread boasting each M color. Looking back each time you stepped out, because you knew you were an M owner. You knew the engineering, the design, the racing pedigree and passion that went into creating this M that sits against the gravel. Waiting to be driven.

Most fun you'll have in a csr for the price!
I want to start off by saying that this car is a race car and should be treated as one and not be a daily commuter. Learn your lesson from me, REPAIRS ARE EXPENSIVE, so if i bought another one i would have a daily comuter to pay for repairs on. But now to the car, this car is set up to be the funnest thing you've ever driven from 2003 or any e46 body style for that matter. It is the best of both worlds, it has the low end quicknes of 4 cylinder turbos and the highend horsepower of a massive v8. The inline 6 is such a great engine and is used perfectly in this car bone stock (don't even get me started on adding a turbo kit) the weight ratio is a perfect 50/50 front and rear so if you're in a place where it snows or just a small time drifter this car really is the best. I owned the smg trans which is the only acutal electronic clutch paired with a manuel gear box so it acts more like a manuel then all the new automatic gear boxes that basically do everything for you and suck. I loved this car and i will probably end up with one again but it will only go out on the weekends and not i wont have to pay 1300 for a fuel pump. :)

BMW M3 is the "Ultimate Driving Car"
I love my car, but I live in NYC and have put 1000 miles on in the past 2 years. If I lived elsewhere I'd keep it forever! More fun than you should be allowed to have.
