Confortable Powerhouse

by car fan from san diego, ca on Sun Oct 08 2017

This car has been a dream for me. It is fast like no other car I have owned and smooth like many luxury cars I have owned. I love the looks and the great technology that car has been equipped with. It has been completely reliable for me for 35,000 miles.

Awesome car! Ridiculously powerful and luxurious.

by SpartyRob from Charleston, SC on Wed Dec 21 2016

The M6 may be the sexiest and most reliable car I've ever owned. Beautiful detail and quality, wicked fast. Compliments on the color everywhere I go. Reliability was perfect with no trips to dealer except for regular maintenance. This is not a car, it is a life changing phenomena with wiper blades.

This car is super fast as well as comfortable drive when wanted. Has power and handling you would expect from a super car with the reliability and comfort for a luxury car.

Our Take on the 2013 BMW M6

Editor's note: This review was written in August 2012 about the 2012 BMW M6. Little of substance has changed with this year's model. To see what's new for 2013, click here, or check out a side-by-side comparison of the two model years.

Some things just don't go together. In cars, sportiness and excess weight are a poor pairing.

Yet that's what BMW has tried to merge in the new M6 convertible, a 560-horsepower cruise missile with a power-folding soft-top, all of which tips the scales at more than 4,500 pounds. The result is mixed.

The 2012 BMW M6 is an exquisite convertible in the grand touring vein, but despite its M badge, the car's size and hefty curb weight will disappoint enthusiasts.
