DO NOT BUY. ENGINE FAILURE PROBLEMS
We bought our BMW X3 from Clay Cooley in Plano Texas. The car had 80,000 miles on it when we bought it. 1st problem was less than a month after purchasing, the turbo went out. Then about 6 months later the engine jumped timing and trashed the engine. I would not advise anyone to buy this car. It is going to cost us over $7,000 to fix the engine.

Worst vehicle I've ever owned
Replaced the engine at around 24 thousand miles to the tune of 10 grand. My fault for not buying an extended warranty I guess, but it's a BMW and my last one was a gem with no issues other than normal maintenance. I've probably put in another 5k since for other issues. Worst xxx ever. Can't wait to give it to Carmax. Buyer beware.

So far so good.
I just purchased my vehicle yesterday. So I haven't had a lot of time with it yet beyond my test drive. But I was impressed enough to buy it. I bought this vehicle as a secondary vehicle. It has high miles, seems to be top quality for it's age and mileage. The vehicle was in excellent condition inside and outside. Which is a real testament to the care and attention given to which cars they select for their dealership.

Truly a luxury vehicle
This car was beautiful to drive and perfect for traveling, even with tons of luggage especially! The sunroof gives it a beachy vibe but at evening the classy design makes it perfect for date nights.

After owning 25 or more vehicles
One of my top ten best and faves- four top tens were vettes. A 1970 1/2 240 Z, and an awesome Dodge Super Bee muscle car. Plus a few great Lincolns .

Love the way it drives!
Great size. Passenger seat rides well also. Had a baby in the back and seats clean so well. Spacious, but not big and bulky. Love this car!

Engine died at 70,800 miles due to known issue
Do not buy a BMW. Engine died at 70,800 miles due to the timing chain stretching, causing the rail guide to break (plastic) and go into the oil, causing catastrophic engine failure. BMW is charging me $7,706 (covering 35% of the new engine). Dealer serviced and maintained, frequent oil changes, meticulously kept. There are several class-action law suits on this issue. Search for "BMW N20," "BMW engine failure," "BMW timing chain" or related and you'll find all the info you need.

75K all okay
This car meets the needs of my family. We bought it at 55k and out of warranty. One issue came up with smoke on startup and BMW worked out to be an oil feed line for the turbo and fixed for free! Other than brakes tires and oil so far so good. The car is quick and very capable in the snow and much. Also comfortable. Fingers crossed I get to 200k and that is what is on my father's 99 BMW 3 series and she still runs well
