Consider buying it

It has great styling, buying the v8 isn?t needed. I believe the v6 is the better engine. Interior style is great, speaker upgrade is a must

Totally in love with this vehicle

The X5 X50I is an amazing machine. All the luxury you expect from BMW coupled with amazing power and ride puts it ahead of other cars we looked at. The technology looks simple with not as many buttons as the Cayenne but the Idrive has many many layers to satisfy the geek in you but not too many to drown you. I had the wheels powder coated black and with the white body its a head turner.

Expensive to own

25K mi needed tires. 28K brakes. 32K supercharger-$5.5K, 37k Front seal $1.1k. 40k belt and idler. $500. Uses premium fuel. $60K in 2012. Sold in 2018 with 41k mi for $17K. Would not and did not recommend to a friend. Lousy interface with radio/nav and touchy gas pedal with hard steering. Had X5?s since 2001. Changed to Audi Q7. So far so good.

Excellent Value, Super Comfortable and Economical

This car has head turning style that is still relevant in 2018. The performance is excellent and also extremely economical due to the powerful 6 cylinder Diesel engine. I really enjoyed all the tech inside the vehicle too for my music, phone and nav needs.

Great handling suv

Performance is second to none in its class, gas mileage ok,reliability might become a problem later. This is the 3rd x5 I looked at that had open factory recalls.

Excellent car

The vehicle has been tremendous. Drives perfectly well in all conditions, is extremely reliable, and is spacious enough for our young son and two dogs to travel long distances.

Not worth the money

BMW overall had multiple issues example, engine oil leak, high pressure fuel pump, transfer case. These are think that will defiantly break down and the best part is BMW already knows and still havnt done a recall for it.
