Ultimate Depreciation Machine.

1. BMW has relinquished transmission service, WHY? They DO NOT make their transmissions and the builder, another German company does and has a full service recommend sheet, with miles and correct fluids, et al. Now that's a load of crap. All transmission need servicing like any part with fluid traveling through it! So when your Trany goes out, you are looking a $4000+ easy, Thanks BMW for that PLANNED OBSELENCE! 2. No dip stick and access to change your oil or the very small oil gasket, NOT THE OIL FILTER, will cost you over $1000 in labor, TO ACCESS and a $14.08 part! 3. Ridiculous depreciation the minute you drive off the lot. I can buy a 2022 X7, retailing north of $95,000 for around. $50,000 and CPO/Certified with around 35-45,000 miles. 4. Very fun to drive, quality feel, twin turbo power I like, the profile is amazing on my 2017 X5. Don't like the body style changes. 5. You pay $65,000 or more and have to pay extra, with one package to get the Harmon Kardon stereo. xxxx, for that much in the price tag I should get the Bowers and Wilkins. 6. 9.5 and 10.5 wheels and tires make it look "mean". But no rotation and you will wear out the front tires in about 25,000 miles. Run flats are harsh and do not last. So, get an "S" model and gain gas mileage, rotate and balance tires and unless you live in a cold climate, the XDrive is a waste of additional sticker shock. of money. 10. The interior colors, mine is brown leather, are nauseating, at best. Orange looking leather, white leather-are you kidding me? And, the old standby Black!

Best car at this times

The car is spectacular, it only brings a defect to me concern, the star/stop bottom does not have the option to deactivate it, although in sport mode it is not bad. In areas of uneven pavement the car jumps like a rabbit, it's not comfortable, but smooth is not bad. The car is almost perfect except for those two things, and very economical in the city, spectacular on the highway and off roads or mountains, it is super good and capable. Mine has not brought mechanical or electrical problems. super nice everything

BMW X5 owner

I had a test drive at ideal auto, I was planning to get a used one,but the space of backseat is a little small for a big size suv, by the way, the price of gas is tooooo high ,it's a good timing to get a hybrid car.

2020 BMW X5

This BMW X5 is by far the nicest vehicle we have owned. It is very quiet and rides smooth. Also, the 3.0 six cylinder get great gas mileage and more power than we need.

Great car but lacks safety feature.

No warning when using key to open rear gate-either sound or light. Already hit a kid on a bike driving behind car when I opened rear gate standing in front of car. Side view mirrors too small. No neutral position on side view mirror adjustment button. Oil indicator computer read out not reliable. In heavy rain I get message that front camera not functioning.

Mmmmmmm50i...

Great car that is fun, fast and useful. You will not be disappointed. I opted not to get ventilated and massaging seats. Had them on a 540xi and found the seat to be flat and not properly padded. This X5 M50i has amazing seats.

X5 - love it!

Love the X5! My husband has a bad back so he needed something bigger and I needed something I could drive w/o feeling like I was driving a school bus! The X5 is super comfortable, has a ton of awesome features and is just right for us!
