Explore the 1995 Buick Century

Hej, I have owned my buick century 1995 3.

Hej, I have owned my buick century 1995 3.1 since the end of 2016 and use it every day. I found the car on the internet by chance. It had been parked in a garage in Brussels for many years. The owner came from Pennsylvania and brought the car with him to Europe. No idea why it wasn't registered. The Buick was sold to me as an inheritance. Fresh tyres, fluids, battery and filters and it drove beautifully again - now on German roadster - yes I live in Germany. I fitted better brakes and German rims so that I could fit good tyres with grip. That's important, because otherwise the Buick would be out of its depth on German roads. So far I haven't had a breakdown and have travelled to almost every country from Sweden to Croatia. Comfortable and cosy. The insurance is extremely favourable because here it is an exotic vehicle. The engine runs exclusively on propane (KME system) plus valve saver. This makes maintenance cheaper. The car provides a chilled Feeling. I love the styling and the sound of the V6. Once a year there is synthetic oil from Ravenol (5W-50) with a can of Ceratec from Liqui Moly. The automatic gearbox gets fresh oil and filter every 50,000 kilometres. It runs like new.

Bought this wagon for traveling and daily use.

Bought this wagon for traveling and daily use. Love everything about it. Very comfortable ride and easy to work on. Plan to keep it until I can’t drive any longer. It’s a Buick!

Great Car

Just bought it a month ago. 81,000 miles on it, "little old lady car." Literally. Steering a little loose but handles well; quiet, and rides better than my 1993 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Interior is a bit cramped; but then again I'm used to my Kia Sportage. At 28 years old, exhaust, starter, and AC needed work (to be expected).

Never been more satisfied with a car!

I bought the 3.1L V6 2 years ago in 2017 for $500.00. It only had 96,000 miles on it. Truly a rare find for it's age. I've kept up on the upkeep pretty well. Never late on oil changes, and flushing the coolant system. My highway gas mileage is about 22mpg. Smoothest ride I've ever had. Truly, better than any newer car I've ever driven. And she sounds like a beast! Everytime I fire her up, she purrs. They truly don't make cars like this anymore.

Most reliable and comfortable car I've ever owned.

This car was very reliable and comfortable to drive. I've never owned a more smooth ride in my life. Like floating on clouds everywhere you drove. Gas mileage was good for a V6 engine. Never had any engine or transmission trouble and come to think of it never had a single issue with this car even without keeping up on normal maintenance like changing brakes, oil, timing belt never done at recommended intervals and she still purred the entire time I owned it. This car was a gem in the Buick line of 90's cars. Owned it from 1995 to 2017, 22 years and it still drove as good as the day I got it, it was sad to let it go. It's the last car I'll ever own or drive, I only sold it recently because I retired and moved to a location where cars are no longer needed.

Great all around car

I was looking for a very dependable, 4 Door, V-6, Automatic, with a bench seat and the Buick Century provided all of that and more. The car handles well, gives a good ride and is above average on gas mileage. I was very pleased.
