Very Underappreciated Car
After driving a Buick Regal & switching over to this Century, I long for that 3.8 L. as opposed to the 3.1. That being said, the 3.1 is legendary for reliability. The styling is very dated inside & out. The gas pedal is the worst design in automotive history!! It tends to stick at the top. The car does nothing exceptional but competently. Though it's greatest attribute is reliabilty. This is very fine transportation that that serves very very well. I may even get another one when this one finally gives up the ghost.

A reliable appliance
I have had this car for nearly two years and have never been excited to drive it. It has worked as advertised and never caused me any problems. I have never had to pay for repairs with this car. However, it has flaws. I have the V-6 engine, yet I still strain to keep up with traffic at times. You must plan highway passes carefully. Gas mileage, however, is good for a car this size, especially on the highway. The car actually grips the road better than the suspension will allow you to push it, which can be frustrating. The ride is smooth but it often feels like the car is wallowing down the road, kind of like you have placed a pillow between your seat and the car's seat. Speaking of the seats, they offer no lumber support whatsoever and have no real shape to them. The experience is no better in any other spot in the car, so watch out if you have back problems. The interior looks incredibly dated but it has held up well and offers a few useful features - map lights, a useful center storage console, plenty of space. The Century is a tired but competent design. Boy racers should look elsewhere as the car is in its element around 40 mph, but those who only want spacious, efficient, reliable transportation may want to take a second look.

I've been very pleased with this car
This is a grandma's car, and in my case, it really is: I bought this from my Grandma! That said, I couldn't be happier with this car. It gets decent gas mileage and it handles the road quite nicely. The ride is pleasant, and the sound system is top notch. The only thing I don't like about it is the front end styling. No matter, it's been a very dependable car. What more can you ask?
