2020 Buick Enclave review: Our expert's take

What Is the 2020 Buick Enclave?

The 2020 Buick Enclave is a premium three-row SUV with room for up to seven people. It’s powered by a 310-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine that works with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Both front- and all-wheel-drive versions are available. Competitors include the Acura MDX and Infiniti QX60

What’s New on the 2020 Buick Enclave?

A new 8-inch touchscreen multimedia system is standard, and Premium and Avenir trim levels gain massaging front seats. A new Sport Touring Edition features 20-inch aluminum wheels and a unique grille.

What Features in the 2020 Buick Enclave Are Most Important?

The second-row SmartSlide seat gives easy access to the third row from the right side of the Enclave, and a rear-seat reminder is designed to help you avoid forgetting anything in the backseat. An available 360-degree camera system ensures optimal visibility, while a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot comes standard to keep you connected on the road (data trial included).

Should I Buy the 2020 Buick Enclave?

If you have a big family and a lot of cargo to haul, the Enclave will likely meet your needs. However, considering the Enclave’s pricing its cabin could be more luxurious, and we wish all trims came with the advanced safety features that go in uplevel Enclaves.

JJ’s Sweet Ride

I love my Buck Enclave. My test drive was awesome. I bought it right away. I love the way it handles. Great ride. Great acceleration. I love I can accommodate lots of riders. I would highly recommend the Buick Enclave.

5.0

This is my second Enclave.

Like the styling and the room of the Enclave. Great car when the grandkids visit. Only real problem is the quirky shifter. Simpler would have be better.

1.0

3rd one and rattle right side, electrical problems

Rattle somewhere in car radio won’t shut off when getting out of car, mirrors close when door shut hard, parking brake came on when placed in park. Massage comes on with no one touching
