Avoid 2014 Encore!

I bought a 2015 Encore in 2019 used. It has had catalytic converter issues from the beginning with the converter being replaced 3 times. The turbo has been replaced 3 times, valve covers replaced twice, spark plugs replaced 4 times, O2 sensors replaced & still has check engine light with code for emissions issues. I have replaced the air conditioning compressor & it's now in the shop to replace thermostat housing. This car has been in the shop now 13 times since May 2019 & I've spent thousands. Dealership doesn't care, AG's office is useless regarding lemon law, GM & Buick offer 10% discount on repairs only if Buick dealership repair at higher labor rates. This vehicle was paid for in 6 payments, but I am now disabled & cannot afford to trade it in or continue to make repairs. It's a great styled vehicle, fun to drive, compact in size while still offering plenty of cargo space & comfort. Unfortunately, it's mechanical issues are unending, expensive to fix, & completely turned me off the Buick brand.

Loves the mechanic

My son named this as my roller skate and I loved both the name and the vehicle. I would NOT recommend this vehicle. I have spent thousands on repairs. It’s back in the shop now. I have replaced the A/C compressor, radiator coolant reservoir and numerous other parts. If you want a vehicle that stays in the shop and that you will spend lots on repairs then this is the vehicle for you. As much as I enjoy the interior comfort I am going to get rid of it.

Great small SUV

Great little SUV. Gas mileage is a plus. Nice interior and features. Nice design. Reliable vehicle. This is our 18 year old’s car and we feel safe sending him out in it.

Most relaible and comfortable SUV

This SUV is a great vehicle great on gas. We all love the comfortable ride this SUV is great driving through the snow. Really like the all wheel drive feature.

Best car I ever owned. Very comfortable and easy t

This car is so comfortable and easy to drive. I feel so safe with all the excellent features. This was my first time buying a small SUV and now that is all o will ever own!

Never buy a car there and watch for phoney sales.

Without repairs I cant give it a rating . I told them it would be a miracle if I made it home in this xxx.

Love my car!

I owned a Buick Lucerne before this purchase. I will always own a Buick for the rest of my life. Low maintenance, high dependability & comfort! I have wanted an Encode from the minute they came on the market! This one has EVERYTHING! LOVING the heated seats & steering wheel right now! I feel VERY spoiled!

Love the safety features. Big help for safe drivin

This car has all the safety features I need, but is also so nice inside, with leather seats, and outside with a metallic brown. In addition, a 2014 model, it has only 16000 miles.

Completely changed my mind about 4 cylinders!

This car has a sassy look but best of all it drives just like a 6 cylinder. I was very nervous about getting a smaller vehicle because I've always had high horsepower and extra room. This car is more spacious than it looks and has everything I need for comfort.

Really Enjoying the Ride

This peppy little SUV is fun to drive and a pleasure to ride in. It has all the bells and whistles from heated steering wheel and seats to lumbar support and sun roof. It is a slightly older model than we had planned to purchase but had low miles on the odometer, gets good mileage and has a beautiful blue metal flake exterior. It's our "second" car and was meant to be our workhorse but, so far, it is spoiling us instead!
