Great CUV

Drove a Rendezvous for 15 years and had difficulty seeing out of it. The Enclave and the newer Envision were still too big. The Encore is a refreshing change and I'm loving it.

The good and the bad

Inside, a bad is the radio is surrounded in a cheap silver colored (unknown) material that started chipping day two after purchase, but I will say that based on a crash today where we were rear ended, two kids in the back and two adults in the front, the person was going over the speed limit and the rain caused him to not be able to stop and he hit us when we were at a dead stop. The damage, while a good amount, was no where near what it should have been or near what he ended up doing to his Toyota scion. Those in the back were fine with nothing but the sore usual that came from initial impact, same goes for those in the front.

Perfect for empty nesters

A small SUV, but should be suitable for many people. Super smooth and quiet. Exceptional build quality and reliability. Great gas mileage for FWD version.

Wife said buy it!

With all the high tech in this '14 Premium package car, how did they miss not putting in the Homelink system for something that we use every day? Back to using the old clip-on remote for the garage door & gate.

Poorest Car I've Owned

The amount of money I've had to pay for major pieces of this car not working is astounding. Apparently lots of people are having all sorts of problems. I'll never buy a GM again.

Dead batteries

While I admit, I really truly love my 2014 Buick Encore. That is, when it's not in the dealership getting a new battery......or should I say new batteries. My car, has had electrical issues that just don't seem to go away. Well, I have to have my car go back again for yet, something new. My rear view mirror has on star. But it would be great if the lights in the buttons would shut off. Even after my has been turned off for several hours. Maybe this might be the problem causing my dead batteries. I don't always drive at night, so I normally don't see the lights.

Smooth riding quiet car

Nothin like a Buick ride smooth ride and is quiet. Gets good gas milage and its a nice size. Has many buttons to push to change radio and navagation. The strearing wheel button to change the radio station is not that easy to grip. I wish it had a locking glove compartment. The electronics worry me as the battery was replace under warranty before 2 years and less than 12k miles. I own 4 other buicks and they are all still running well and have had very little repairs.

Obsessed with my 2014 encore!!

I bought this as my first SUV to travel while I coach volleyball and head to work. I take back roads and highways everyday, so it was important to get an all wheel drive for the winter. There's no words to describe how much I love my car! I get compliments from everyone!! Smooth rides, steering, true luxurious feel on the inside. I love the hill-assist technology. I can't stop volunteering to drive my coworkers and friends because I love to show off this car!
