1998 Cadillac DeVille consumer reviews

I moved into a little old lady's house who was in her last two years. I loved the house and this 98 cadillac was in the garage where I parked my 95 MB 230 compressor. I loved looking at this car every time I pulled in. Battery was Dead car is Absolutely clean and Beautiful. The daughter sold it to me for $6000. 60k miles and awesome. I've drove it 3 years now and only put $1000 in tires and $569 for new oxygen sensor, wires and new plugs. My friends all Teese me for being a shiny white guy with a Big Ole Cadillac...lol.. They are so Jealous. I love Mrs Betty.

This car when I bought it was very clean, and a good daily driver. It was comfortable, and had all the bells and whistles one could have. I had it in my mind I wanted a big body Cadillac again while I could find one. It had 92,000 miles on it, drove perfect. It had the Northstar engine in it, drove perfect.....until one day i started smelling anti freeze, and noticed dripping under the car. I found out it had a blown head gasket, and it would cost more to fix it than to get another car so I traded it. I was not happy. The experience was good till the end, I'd own another one but never will i own another one with the Northstar engine!

This car is ok and very dependable. Very good gas mileage. Just a small dent on the front finder. Just make me an offer. Need to sell.

I just love this car best one I have ever had. Love the luxurious ride, and the spacious interior. They don't make cars as great as this one anymore

This car is a dependable car never had any issues with it I would drive it just about anywhere I need to go.i would trust this car with my life if it came down to it

Good looking, roomy, quiet, good handling. It is the best car that I have ever owned. This car has a lot of power, yet I get good mileage with great performance and luxury.

this a very nice ride ,great styling, lots of leg room front and back, large truck,big North Star engine. Every thing is right at the drivers reach.

Smooth comfortable ride with low miles for it's year! I drove it to Florida and back in 15hours . Never had an issue with it! Plenty of leg room in front and in back. Leather seats and super clean.

Problems abound with this my third Cadillac. Alternators, A/C compressors, heater core, reservoir tank, water pump, check engine light, rough idle, electronics... Nearing 160,000 miles and now a "crossover tube gasket" leaking coolant.. Very frustrating, cause when it's running good it's a dream, but when something goes wrong it's a money pit. Most of these somewhat common repairs in most all vehicles but with a Cadillac, it is much more expensive than other cars. Even regular maintenance is a little more, oil changes, filters, plugs, wires, batteries.. Is it worth it? It's tough to say. I love Cadillac, but this one has been a struggle.

This car looks great, feels even better and runs like new. You won't find another clean low mileage Caddie like this one. This one has been well taken care of and it shows.
