Full commitment to Electric

After watching many YouTube reviews as well as written literature I decided to drive it and experience this new car. The styling initially appeared quirky, however, close look and feel revealed otherwise. The apparent size was deceptively small. Once seated in the cabin the volume was more generous than anticipated. Packaging was a bit akin to the Honda Fit. Front seat width is a tad narrow with some hard plastic edge at the rear part of the seat. You need to shift weight and move while seated to be comfortable. The electronics displays appear easy to navigate. As with all interfaces there is a learning curve. Ease of use is fair to good. Driving dynamics have been fun. Turn in is good. The torque overcomes tire grip so need to be careful with torque steer. Acceleration and traffic maneuverability were quick and confident. Battery range appear to be as predicted with extra "safety factor" range. I will likely not drain the battery to its lowest level or charge consistently to set 100%. Overall the early experience has been satisfying. Reliability of the mechanical systems, electronic interfaces, and ultimately the batteries will be evident with time. Bolt forum comments have been helpful and can be both helpful and worry making. If you want to take the full electric plunge this is a good option for the features and battery range.

Might me my favorite (4th) all-electric so far.

I've only had the Bolt for a little over a week but I really like it. It seems faster than the i3 I owned previously (especially in Sport mode) and it's not "look at me, I'm an EV" goofy looking. I also love the large display and CarPlay.

Love love love this car! It's a spaceship!

I just bought my first electric car and I couldn't be happier. EVERYONE who gets in it is impressed with the design of the interior, the comfort, and the technology (Wifi, XM radio, backup camera, lane departure, automatic braking, heated seats/wheel). They are all shocked by how totally quiet it is and how quick this thing can zip around. I call it my mini spaceship. I am in love with this car and am never going back to a gas vehicle.

Kind of Expensive

If this car was priced in the mid 20's, it would be a good selling car, especially for city dwellers. At 41 thou that's a whole lot of gas you can buy with your conventional vehicle to break even in savings.

Best on road

Love this car handles like a sports car but more room and class. Great visibility and comfortable seats 200 miles on first trip with plenty of battery left. Drive it in sports mode for real acceleration. ..

AMAZING CAR!! Long long Range and Super Fast!

The Bolt far exceeded my expectations of not only what an electric car could be but what ANY car could be. It is SO fun to drive, the range is incredible - we can go so far and never have to worry about running out of battery charge, the features and technology is really fun and convenient, and most of all the car is fast. It shocks people when you accelerate past them like a rocket. This car is a game changer in the electric vehicle world. I absolutely love my car.

Great acceleration, plus I get 240 miles charged.

This car has exceeded all my expectations. It's better on mileage around town as it will go up to 260 miles on a charge if you stay off the freeway. It has amazing acceleration.

Awesome EV with a fantastic range

Meets my requirements. Very happy with it. Wish seat adjustments are not manual. Good size. Trunk size is small given the car size.

Best EV Available

My Chevy Bolt is a remarkable vehicle. I'm getting about 250 miles per full charge. There is no vehicle which is comparable in this price range.
