2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV consumer reviews

Great car. Went 250 Miles on the first charge. I need to be cautious when driving the car from a dead stop. The acceleration is intimidating.

Car drives and handles very well but some packaging decisions that I question. I owned a Fiat 500e and loved having an electric car. But sine I bought the car the family grew, so I need something with 5 seats and a small run about. I was very excited about the Bolt coming out. I test drove it and something just did not feel right. The seat seemed narrow and felt that I was leaning in towards the Salesman. I commented to the salesman about the seats and he said he felt the same way. Later I found out that it was designed that way on purpose the Outer side of the seat has a larger bolster to accomidate the side seat airbag and the inner side is smaller to allow access to the center cubby. So if you have broad shoulders you will need to but seat cover on it and add your own bolster unless GM comes up with a better idea.

Frustrated with high and always fluctuating fuel prices, I was waiting for an all electric AFFORDABLE vehicle to arrive. As my previous vehicle aged to 20 years, I promised myself to not purchase another gas car. Well, the 2017 BOLT has arrived. It will make history as the range is a very real 250 MILES. After credits, rebates and other environmental incentives, the BOLT is extremely affordable. It is also quick, comfortable and quite stylish. A great buy. GM/Chevrolet are on a roll with the BOLT!!!

The car has great acceleration because of the electric motor and is relatively comfortable with decent room in the rear seats. The only downside is the charging which takes longer than a tesla but the bolt is much cheaper. CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL!
