I have a 97 Corvette I bought with 82000 miles on it.

I have a 97 Corvette I bought with 82000 miles on it. I have replaced the oil pressure sending unit twice. I have replaced all the shocks. I have replaced both gas tank sending units and fuel pumps. I have replaced the power window and power lock switches on the drivers side. The ac compressor needs replacing . I do love the car. It is Carmine Red.

Few things compare to owning a vette

The only reason I would ever sell my 97 vette is to get a new 2020. It is a thrill to drive everytime I get into the car it is another exciting adventure, If you haven't driven a corvette, you are missing out on one remarkable experience. At 72 yrs old I love driving the automatic, it will go as fast as you want to go and the gas mileage is good on the highway.

I bought this car in 2000 ,its been great!Love it.

For the money you can't beat it,had problems with the pop-up head lights, thats about it, on the highway 30 mpg average, great accellaration, got it up to 168 mph "for a short time" don't want to lose my driver's license"....

Bought it in Oct 2017. Can?t stay out of it.

No problem at all. Had mirror fixed, keep going out of adjustment. 41,000 k excellent mint condition. To fast for me at 70 yrs old but a lot of fun. Run great, handles great. Carmine red color, looks beautiful in this color.

Get the manual trans, the automatic is a pooch

The car handles amazing, steering is tight, the suspension is firm but not too firm, is blast to drive with the top off, looks beautiful, yet the automatic is pretty slow off the line

Too much fun & expensive hobby!

The 97 corvette is a lot of fun, you never satisfied you always wanna put more power or better ride or your own little things to make your own style like better seats, better stereo or lambo doors. It's definitely a weekend or vacation car with gas prices as it is. So just know that you're going to be putting in a lot of money into it and not driving as much. Because driving in the city you're only going to get about 15 to 16 miles to the gallon and on the highway around 30 to 32 miles a gallon @ 60 to 70 dollars to fill up. Congrats if you driven one and shame on you if haven't.
