The design of this car is sleek and elequent. The interior is comfortable and roomy and the performance of all mechanical parts is perfection. No wonder this car is so highly rated.

Very stylish with a lot of modern comforts. The size is perfect for our family without feeling like it?s an SUV. We love the technology and use the app often. It?s also a comfortable ride.

Bought the 2018 Equinox to replace our Traverse. Love both but the Equinox is a little easier for us to get into. It handles well and has enough extras to help us keep up with the other cars in our family. I'm 99% on this SUV, like everything but the "Auto Stop", said to save fuel, can't quite believe it with all the starting and stopping, also don't really feel safe when waiting to get into traffic and when the chance comes there is the delay in the engine restarting, Otherwise the vehicle is perfect.

Our LT model with 1.5T and FWD is a nice car. The little turbo engine is smooth, quiet, and quick enough in any situation I have put it through so far. When I want to speed up from 50 to 65 it responds in a surprisingly pleasant way. When I go around curves it holds well allowing me to temporarily lose any tailgater that was behind me. The ride is okay, slightly firm the way I like it, and taking bumps well. The engine is so quiet on the highway that the only things I hear are the tires rolling and the occasional contact with a road imperfection. Before visiting the dealer I didn't think much of the online pictures of the dash, but I wanted to take advantage of the rebates that were offered, and seeing it in person changed my opinion. The MSRP for the car is a little high for what it is, but many discounts are offered and if you can wait until the best ones come, you can jump on a terrific car for the money.

The seats are super comfortable, plenty of room and space, my grandkids love all the phone chargers and the added WIFI. Really nice riding car, easy to park, easy handling in traffic and is a pleasure to drive anywhere.

the perfect balance of size, comfort and function. AWD and can tow. Good gas mileage. Realible. Lots of bells and whistles. Can't wait to take it on a road trip.

Update to my previous review. Tonight I discovered a MAJOR design flaw in my chevy equinox 2018 LT. We placed my dog in the trunk of the vehicle and noticed how small it is compared to the 2015 I returned. So I decided to put the back seat down so the dog could lay down next to my daughter. Well some how the dog got her leg caught between the trunk and the back seat! If we moved the seat she screamed in pain. The backseat no longer moves in the equinox! We couldn't put the seat up or down and the dog would panic and yelp twisting herself around (Australian Shepherd). My neighbors came to help but we couldn't do anything. We called the police to help as by now I was hysterical, my daughter was upset, the dog was yelping and I had already called my dealer for help. My neighbors husband pulled up and luckily had tools. We tried to keep the dog calm as he started to unbolt the entire backseat. This event took half hour! It was a nightmare! My vet said what if this was a toddler! That back seat should move like in prior models! This could've been solved in 2 minutes. Now my seat is unbolted, I got soaked in a down pour and my poor dog is traumatized to this new vehicle. She is walking on her leg but yelped when the vet touched her. I have to put her on antibiotics for 10 days for inflammation and will need an xray if she shows sign of pain. A horrible experience where I was helpless without xxxx tools to take the seat apart! Think twice if you have small children. This was an accident but kids do silly things and I can only hope this doesn't happen to a small child.

This is my 3rd Equinox. This time I traded in my 2015 for a 2018. First my dislikes. It is small. I feel that the whole vehicle is smaller. The seats curve your body but if you put your arm on the armrest it is uncomfortable digging in you back. Forget about the middle 'seat' in the back. Then you have it digging in from both sides. The side mirrors are weird. They are not very tall and take a little getting used to. The rear view mirror is also smaller. I hate the radio. It's black and white and I can no longer program favourite artists or songs for xm to show me when they are playing. I can no longer see my text messages or have them read to me. From what I understand, I have to download Android Auto then connect my phone to the car via usb and that's all too much hassle for me and I only have one cord so I'd have to buy another. There is also less room in the trunk. I haven't tried to fit all my luggage yet but I forsee an issue. However my likes.....the thing moves. I had a 4 cylinder 2015 and I could never pull into traffic without the engine sounding like it was going to blow and people looking at me funny. This thing takes off and I love it!!! The engine shuts off at a stop! Yep you heard me, I freaked at first but now I'm used to it. Saves on gas and as soon as you take your foot off the gas, it starts immediately. I LOVE the heated seats and being able to open the car with a button from the outside. I also LOVE the rear hatch opening and closing from my key fob. Makes life easy when you have bags and we all know women only make one trip from the car to the house regardless of how many bags we have lol. Jury is still out on the push button start. I can't tell you how many times I put my hand up to turn the car on or turn it off and look for my keys. I really like the blindspot feature where the side mirrors alert you of a car next to you that you may not see. Also I like the rear view on coming obstacle. The gas tank is also smaller, I'm not sure how much I just noticed that it cost me less to fill it and our gas prices are almost $3 now. I'm sure I'll get used to things, I've only had it a few weeks but I'm not so sure if I'll be buying a 4th due to how compact it feels but I am liking the extra bells and whistles.

Plenty of room and enjoying owing this vehicle. Vehicle is stylish and handled great on the road during a recent rain storm. Great for a family vehicle!
