Best Car In Its Class
The HHR is by far the best car that I've owned. I love it! I really like the car in the safety preformance. The interior is confortable on long drives and short drives as well. Plenty of leg room also. I love the remote start on the key fob. It helps a lot in the winter! In the summer, the A/C really takes effect and cools the car down quickly; which is nice if the car has been sitting in the sun. The window buttons were strange to me at first but I got used to it with in the first month. The cup holders were futher back than what I would of liked them to be. The car handles really well. I've taken mine on long trips from MO to TN and it was better than taking my GMC Youkon. I saved about $50- $100 dollars on gas when I took the HHR. I had plenty of room in the cargo area for my bags and lots of empty space still. Overall, I think this car is the best in its class!

Love the HHR
I have had my HHR for a couple of months now. I bought it used and it now has 34K miles and it still runs fine. I have never had an issue with it. Compared to the '91 Cavalier I drove forever this car is a dream. It's small but roomy all at the same time. Gives us plenty of space for a 5 year old and his after school sports gear. As with any car research before you buy, but I think this car is def. worth looking into if you need space but save on gas at the same time.

worst car ever!!!!!!!!
i loved my hhr for the first couple thousand miles, untill i was driving it down the highway. as i was driving the check lights all lit up and then it started to overheat. i pulled into my local dealer and told them what happened and they before even looking at the car said a rock more then likely hit the radiator and its not covered by the warrenty, and its going to cost me 600 dollars! i just paid 23,000 for this car and it turns out im not alone. this is a problem with the hhrs and i have been treated terrible by GM. many other owners have had this happen to them on the radiators and the ac condensor. just driving the car on the road will lead to a hole in the radiator or the condensor just from normal road debris! beware the car looks great, but be prepared to buy radaitors and condensors every few months. i wouldnt wish this car on my worst enemy!

I would recommend this car to any one.
Easy on gas, great ride and very comfortable on long trips. We make trips from north Louisiana to New Orleans two or three times a year. We can go there and back on one tank of gas and not be tired from the trip.

very cute car
we like our 07' HHR mostly because of the "cut" factor. The cars engine is peppy for a 2.4 litre, and it handles well. The car is quite on the road and seems well built. Ithas a solid ride w/ no rattles or squaks. The downside to this vehicleis the poor ergonomics. There is a lack of storage space, the door lock buttons are in a horrible place on the window sil. Also the switches that open the windows are located on the front of the shifter console, making them difficult to use. All in all we like the car. We are happy we purchased it. Oh yes, the brakes squeek and the dealer claims they couldn't duplicate the problem...How odd!

Great Car
The body style and handling of the HHR makes it a joy to drive. I have the 175 hp with automatic that gives me the pickup and go when I need it. Driving this car makes me feel young again

More than expected more the money
Have owned the 2lt model for about 9 months, bought as a summer car for my wife. We like the styling and versitilty, the 2.4l motor has decent power and the auto trans can be put in I which when braking hard into corners downshifts. The interior is some what bland, but overall we have been pleased with the purchase. Test drove the 2.2l - it lacked power and the 17" crome wheels Our other vehicles = F-250, Grand Cherokee, Crossfire

Functional for what I use it for.
Like the styling, performance, comfort and size for the purpose of what I use it for. I don't like where the power window buttons are located. I find that the dash compartment is not large enough. Go back to a console. The ride is very good for it's size and weight. Handling and response is very good. Overall comfort, for it's size is good. Gas mileage got better as the engine got more broken in. I find that it gives a quiet ride with the windows closed compared to othe vehicles its size. I would recommend this vehicle to others. My only change I would make, is to go with the larger engine and 17 in wheels. Other than that, I love this car.

Very disappointed!
This is great looking car, but that where it ends. Way too much road noise, view for the driver is terrible as for seeing stop lights and any tall objects in front. Rear window needs improvement as for visual of cars behind you. There is an gas tank defect. When the tank is 1/2 or more full you hear a sloshing of gas and knocking sound coming from tank and I have a hearing impairment! Chevy says it's a charactersistic of the car, not one that I want! Well at least the car looks Great!
