Bought used in 2020, Carfax read a couple problems but all were fixed and no big red flags. Engine light turns on after a week, bring it to my cousin who has been a mechanic for years. Can't get it off. There was nothing wrong with the car, engine light was just on. Reduced engine power for about a year. Finally I just bypassed the engine light so it wouldn't reduce the power. After a month the electrical issues begin. Gauge cluster on, off, on, off constantly while i drive. Engine stops working, had to replace. Every winter the battery dies 2-3 times and needs to be replaced every Winter. Finally got rid of it and bought a Mazda. DO NOT buy a 2013 malibu. Car looks cools though and is pretty comfortable.

Good car with a few issues.

I have owned the car for about 15 months. It is a good car. There is an issue with burning a little oil. This is a known issue. I almost traded it in when I realized the oil consumption issue, but I stuck with it. I add almost a quote every two gas fill ups. I purchased it with 62,000 miles. I am a salesman and I put nearly 30,000 miles on it in the past 15 mos. Mostly highway. I had to repack the bearings in the rear wheels. This set me back about $1,200. Not good. Other than that, the car has been fine. I plan on driving it another year.

Bad decision

Panel goes out can't read the mileage or speed control. Not and fuse issue. I've spent over 600.00 to be told nothing is wrong. How would a mechanic know when the dash does not cone on. Battery will not start car if the temp is below 29. The car has to be jump started

Hard working Mother

As of today my car electrical system is a problem, my car is losing power in my new battery. It jerks and lose power in traffic. By doing this, it also drain my gas. I like the car but it's troublesome. You should fix what's broken.

Good value for the price tag!!

It's good value for the money! The performance is very good for the price tag. The interior is very comfortable with a soft beige theme. The dashboard is dark brown, which looks good with the beige seats. The ambient lighting is not so bright, but it looks good. The driver's seat is electronically adjustable, which is pretty easy to adjust. Bought it in 2016. It has been more than six years with it! And no problems with anything. It's definitely not the most comfortable car, but it's worth more than the price. Its 3.0L engine for the full feature model gives an outstanding performance with 0-100 kph times of around 7 seconds, which is pretty good for a 1660kg car. Drove it more than 160,000 kilometers. Definitely one of the best cars for its price in every aspect

No major problems with my 2013 Malibu

I bought my Chevy Malibu new in 2013. It's been a good car with a few normal repairs. A wheel bearing at 70,000 miles,Water pump and radiator at 80,000 miles. I have 93.000 miles on her now. My 2013 Malibu is still driving great with that same smooth ride as if it were new. I haven't had to get new brakes yet. That probably will be my next repair. I hope the next 90,000 miles is as good as the first 90.000. I would recommend this car.

2013 Chevrolet Malibu

I got this vehicle 6 months ago and it has been back to the dealer 3 times with the same problem. As of today the same thing is happening car starts some days even when ever thing else comes on the electrical wiring is horrible. When moving your seat or letting your windows up or down the lights blink off and on. I have been stranded numerous of times which is terrible especially with the am hours I work. Worse car I have ever purchased

Help me

I have had my Malibu for 3years and I am having problems with the instrument cluster not working it would flash on then off then on and off and now it's off and doesn't come back on no guages no dash lights and it has got worse as time has passed I have researched this and it seems to be a very common problem with this car and I'm afraid to drive it any not knowing if one day everything just stops working ...I like the car and would own it forever if I knew I could get in it and go anywhere .. But that is not the case ....I did take a vacation one year and after having the oil changed and heading out the check engine light come on and immediately I found a parts store and they computer checked and said a oil sensor had failed so I found the closest GM Dealer bought the sensor and had GM dealer install it and still to this day when the dash and instrument panel is working I'm still getting oil sensor failure ....then on my way to a doctor's appointment I had a flat tire only to find out that car didn't come with a spare tire or a jack and no lug nut wrench ....man I love the car but is just a unlucky 2013 ...help me someone I love this car ...
