Great Deal

Excellent deal for this car with very low miles. Also got 4 brand new tires so the car drives like a dream. I could not have asked for a better car.

16 months, no issues.

For 19k, Sonic RS has been a very good purchase. I hope all the issues with the earlier models have been resolved. Good torque off the line, but the turbo xxx nothing after 60 MPH

Super Sonic!

Really great bargain! I got the hatchback LT RS package with the turbo and heated seats. It drives well and the steering is more than happy to take on tight turns at higher rates of speed. Even though the car is light it feels heavily planted to the ground. Yes, there’s an abundance of plastics but you have to really think about what you’re looking for in a car. If it’s agility, practicality, a good price point, let’s of standard tech, and peppy performance then overlook the interior and look at the vehicle as a whole.

Not bad for a Chevrolet

Sonic RS Hatchback - Good first car for 16 year old daughter. Allot of amenities for the $ and the turbo helps out allot off the line.

it sucks

my main issue with this car is it wont play flac. the manual says it plays FLAC audio but it DOES NOT. took me 4 hours to re-encode my music to MP3, and they are now soulless with flat higns and even flatter base. GM/Chevy refuses to fix this issue. also i found out the radio is actually made by LG. further issues i have with the car is: the cupholders, they are in the most inconvenient places. and somewhat hard to reach the steering wheel radio controls sometimes don't respond when pressed. and overall a unpleasant experience.

Reliable and meets my needs

I have 8100 miles on an 18 LTRS and am satisfied with most everything but the gas mileage 27 mpg mixed driving. You may want to give the 1.4 turbo a try. The car appears small but is roomy enough for 4 adults. Worthy at 16500 but not the Msrp of 21500
