Best car I've ever owned
I purchased my used 2012 Chevy Volt Premier exactly 1 year ago after extensive research on PHEV vehicles. The enthusiastic reviews by Volt owners convinced me to take one for a test drive. The comfort, handling, performance, quiet ride and impressive fuel consumption - plus a generous trade-in on my 2010 Genesis Coupe, convinced me. I am still grinning! I drive primarily to and from work ( 38 km round trip ) and charge up every night using 110 V house plug in my carport. My electrical bill has barely changed - at most 20.00/month increase during winter and less than 5.00/month in summer when compared to same period a year previous to my Volt ownership. So far since filling up on Jan 1 2019 to filling up today 23 April 2019, I have spent $134.95 on gas and travelled 4612km. I have a full tank and am currently averaging about 63km on a charge. As the weather warms up that range will increase to about 75km in the summer. I love my Volt !

Five Stars All Around!
I love this car. This vehicle has been very good to me. It never broke down and only needed minimal maintenance. I drove this car all over California and Nevada and never once had a problem. The charging is great for commuting in town and really lets you leverage the solar panels on your roof.

Reliable economical car. Rarely need to put gas it
Been a very cost effective and reliable vehicle. Good gas mileage when it does need to use gas. Great handling and comfortable. Only had 2 issues which needed service, both under warranty. Average 38 miles of electric range during summer.

Loved it so much, I bought another.
For me, it's the perfect car. Nice acceleration when needed. No range anxiey at all, and, most days, I have a gas-free commute. If you're looking for a "green" car, it's a great solution, while we wait for newer battery technology and a charging infrastructure.

Great acceleration and sporty ride
This car drives really well and I only have to go to the gas station a few times a year because it has a high electric-only range.

Very enjoyable and economical
The car performs well and is a joy to drive. However, there are several blind spots in the front and rear that the driver needs to be aware of.

Still running GREAT after all these years!
Still gets great battery life. Over 63,000 miles I've had very little maintenance issues. Mostly sensors and a clip in the transmission. GM covered both well out of what I had assumed was the warranty period. My overall mileage is in the 80's but I've logged several extended road trips (excess of 1400 miles each.) Pretty consistently get around 40mpg running on gas. I always use premium fuel. Have to be careful where you purchase it, lots of stale premium gas around. Also hate the single hose pumps where the first gallon, to flush the hose, is probably regular and I'm only buying 5 gallon.
