Great, reliable vehicle with lots of room

I love this car, I just need something with slightly better gas mileage because I drive for Postmates. Otherwise I'd keep her, cause I've never had issues with her.

SadGirl

Purchased this new 2003. All excited to buy my first real brand new car I was all excited to run get the PT I had been longing for. I didn't mind the outside noise or the not so comfortable seats plus the cheaper feel of the cloth. I just loved the style! So cared for it carefully with all maintenance. When the 80K mile came up found that it includes changing the timing chain which means lifting the engine & doing water pump at same time. 1800.00. Then gave it to my grandson. A year later at about 81k the engine blew. researched found thats a prob with the PT's. Put rebuilt engine in it and he drove allover. After he passed away brother had it a year and traded in for a new car. Sad it wasn't the vehicle I thought it was & not worth the new price cost

Love my PT Cruisers

I have owned 4 PT Cruisers since 2001. They are very economical with plenty of room inside. The seats fold flat and can hold 8 Ft 2x4s .They are also very easy to get in and out of for elderly or disabled persons and room for a large walker when needed. The GT Turbo model is the best as it has much more accelerating power than the base models and all the options including heated Leather seats and sunroof. I also have a 2005 Convertible PT which does not have the same room inside because it only has a small trunk but it is fun to drive on sunny days. Best car I have ever owned!

They made this car cheap

It gets me where I need to go it's awesome but I don't like how it has power windows but doesn't have power locks... I feel like they were being lazy when making this vehicle it needs some improvement

not a happy car

i love the fact that its so tiny i can squeeze thru anything and anywhere. but overall not a good car in performance mine is a 2003 and since day one gave me a hard time. the battery is the worse to get it out. i have a hard time finding mechanics to work on it. due to how complicated and the space where the parts are located is small and jammed packed. i do admit this car as me driving where. but over all not a good car.

A very reliable car i have owned almost 4 years.

This vehicle has met all my transportation needs, getting to work, going to activities, and events. It hasn't giving me any mechanical troubles, or issues of any kind.

The non turbo engines are extremely reliable

This vehicle is very practical and easy to drive with a great sitting position. Great for going to the supermarket, or home depot due to big trunk and foldable seats. Very timeless design which in my opinion will look great even 30 years from now when cars are laptops with wheels

BEST CAR I EVER OWNED

A CLASSIC, very easy to drive, THE most utility, extremely versatile, you can carry a six-foot ladder with the hatch door closed. Most economical car to own and easy to work on.
