Worst car i have ever owned

I liked the looks and styling of the car but have had it one year and it has spent more time in shop being repaired than on the road. First and last Chrysler for me.

My first car and she set the bar HIGH

We bought this car in 2009 and it was my first one. The Cruiser was reliable, sturdy, and the perfect fit for my lifestyle. I took it roadtripping, camping, to the drive in movies, and tailgating. Loved her to the very end.

Beware the GT

Even with proper care a maintenance this car always has problem. Heating core, struts, TCM, cooling fan, engine mount, and many more problems happening like a chain reaction one after another after each repair. Give this car a hard pss

Great All Purpose Vehicle

It has room to hold 5 people or a sheet of plywood. Great car to do local errands. Very reliable and the retro features are fun; like the analog clock, the door handles.

Haven?t had to take it to a mechanic in 5 years.

I love my convenient/comfortable pt Cruiser. It?s like a sedan and suv mixed together making a perfect size car that isn?t too big or too small. It?s easy to drive while also not being too low on the road. I also don?t have to bend down in order to get in which is a big plus being tall I enjoy not breaking my knees. My Pt Cruiser & I are at that point in the relationship to where I am no longer in suspicion of it being such a great & loyal car to me. I?ve accepted that it?s just the way it was born I mean made. It knows nothing but loyalty. Did I mention it?s our anniversary!?

I love this car

For the past 25 years I have driven large luxury saloons and currently have a BMW 640. I never took much notice of PT Cruisers until a friend gave me his 2007 PT Cruiser a few weeks ago. First impressions were "I can't drive this thing - people will laugh at me!" However, after cleaning the car up, fixing the odd problem, waxing the exterior, driving it for long and short distances, I find that I just love this car! It's so practical and easy to park, the interior is great for throwing stuff in without worrying about damaging the trim. The doors have large thick plastic on the inside which is so tough and sensible unlike my BMW where I have to be careful not to damage the elm wood and Dakota leather trim. Parking is easy due to the high seating position and I'm not worried about getting a parking ding in a car park - if I park the BMW in a supermarket I take up 4 spaces so no one parks next to it! The chrome wheels look great now that I've cleaned and polished them up like mirrors and I can buy the best Michelin tyres for 60 each - not like the run-flats at 400 each for my BMW, which I've replaced 5 of in the last 5 weeks due to bulges caused by potholes on Scottish roads! Being used to taking quite sharp bends at 60-70 mph in my BMW with no body roll whatsoever, it's nice to drive the old cruiser and enjoy the soft suspension leaning over on the bends - just like the early Range Rovers used to. It just feels more like a real car and I love that it has character and the way it just trundles along happily. Performance is much better than I thought it'd be and it just pulls effortlessly up hills and uses very little fuel - about 42mpg with it's Mercedes 2148cc diesel engine. I use it mainly on the country roads near home with the occasional motorway run and use the cruise control to keep it at 70mph, which is very smooth. Ok, it's not particularly quiet and it's not very fast, but at 57 years old, why do I want to go fast? I'd rather trundle along, take my time and enjoy the journey, rather than rush about everywhere for no reason wasting fuel and tyres. I love the fact that although it's a small car it doesn't feel small and it's not one of the crowd. I do like the retro styling, such a pleasant change from all the clones you get on the roads these days. When my friend gave me this car, I told him that he could have it back at a later date if he needed it, but not any more, I'm keeping it!

nice little car. Has pep to operate in traffic

I wanted a small car that would be easy to park. This PT Cruiser fits the bill perfectly. Have not driven it enough miles to get a mpg, but it started with a full tank and still registers nearly a full tank
