Meets Needs and expectations

We bought the van new in August 2012. Seven years later it has 51000 miles. The paint is excellent quality. My main complaint about the van is the inaccessible spare tire being located under the console in the center of the van with no way to access it if needed to replace a failed tire. An annoyance is that it has several rattles and a yet to be determined clunk sound from the right front. The dealer after keeping it for three days came up with a lame explanation for the sound still clunking along. We recently considered a new 2019 Ford Edge which was a great sale price. The van has spoiled me to excellent visibility , more cup holders than we can use. Even with a great deal on the Edge, I felt like it was a down grade that costs $28000 to trade. I have gotten used to the convenience of a flat floor at all 4 doors and the powered lift gate. The Edge has frame rails to climb over in and out and no foot room up front. I truly wish that the T & C was still in production...

Seems reliable...

The remote is the only problem. Cant watch dvd without headphones. Would like to put it through the vehicle speakers, cant do that without the remote. That much needed remote is expensive and hard to get if you do not have one. Other than that flaw, of which, Im sure later models do not have that problem, everything is great...

Very nice looking and reliable van.

This van has been great for road trips with my 4 kids and wife. We put a car-top carrier on, put in a dvd, and use the GPS to go anywhere. It has never broken down and has been well maintained. Still a great minivan.

I’ve had several Dodge vans, but I love this one.

I get teased a lot because I am a senior citizen without kids. Many people relate minivans as a family vehicle . We’ve traveled long distances and it is very comfortable. I see seniors driving them all the time. I would buy another one .

Most comfortable and useful car I have ever owned.

This van is fantastic. The seats lay flat to fit very large items, and there is plenty of room for all passengers. We have the touring l and the extra amenities are fantastic(heated seats, heated steering wheel, DVD player, etc.)

Wonderful vehicle just wasn't for me.

Test drove it was nice Road well priced well just realized it wasn't something I would be happy with as a new purchase 4 the next 5 years or so so looking at other vehicles and still found one loved the Jeep line.

The Rumors Are True

This car met our needs at the time, but by the time the factory warranty ran out it became a money pit. Out of pocket repairs including exhaust, trans cooler lines cams and rockers on both sides over $5,000 in the down of about a year. All out of pocket. The engine issues took over a week. They diagnosed it, fixed it, test drove it-then called back to say issue continued and they needed to do the other side! Corporate Customer service sides with the technicians, and no benefit of the doubt to the owner. These service managers have the ability to authorize warranty when is technically not, but don't help a bit. There will never be another Chrysler product in my driveway. Never.
