First car I bought

I loved this vehicle in the beginning but when it started to get older things like transmission and suspension started going back and it got old.

Unreliable first owned Dodge

It was the most unreliable of piece of transportation ever. I bought it used but almost really good condition (or so the dealership said). Then after after 2.5 years, everything started to break down: breaks, struts, control arms, battery, and ultimately the transmission. It cost me $5k to fix it like new yet it continued to leave me stranded on the roads. Everytime it had to towed to a shop, there was a new problem. None of the warranties that I had could help me since new issues arose every time. Do not recommend this car at all. Plus it's really tight inside, definitely not a good fit for road trips.

Sturdy,comfortable ride I just bought.

This car seems very tight, and has been very comfortable riding in town. Seems to do pretty well on the highway as well opened up!

Cheap car for a small family.

Ours is a base model but gets the job done for our small family. The real issue I have is the overall space inside leaves little in the front or second row for leg room. Its been reliable though and maintenance hasn't been an issue.

Best purchase-great price-super car

This is the first car I have driven since college that just "gets up and goes!" It handles so well and is front wheel drive. I had been looking for one with low miles since I rented one a few years ago and I was thrilled to find one. This is a great little car and is safe and reliable; yet fun and sporty! Love it.

Very reliable and great for a student!

I have had my 2008 Dodge Caliber SE for only a few months, but it's been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Despite being in 2 wrecks before I got it, it runs and drives like it had never been hit. The only things I have had to buy for it were a new battery and an alternator. Also routine maintenance of course. I'm a high school student who needed a car to drive to school, work, and other places, and my Caliber is definitely doing its job!

Not a fan

I feel that it is relatively cheaply made. This was my wife?s car and I never felt comfortable in it. She loved it, but it was time for a new car.

Good little car

I previously owned a 2008 Dodge Caliber for just over 5 years. It was preowned and had barley any km on it, so it was basically brand-new when I bought it. It's a cute car and I had lots of fun in it! It reminded me a bit of a small SUV as it was not as low to the ground like other cars. The exterior style was cute; interior was nicely done; acceleration was my only issue. Since it's only a 4 cyl. I found the car to be sluggish when pressing on the gas. Overall, I really enjoyed this car as it met my needs for many years. Now that we travel more and are starting to need more space, it was time to upgrade.

Aged horribly

Started of reliable, but at the 100,000 mark everything started to break down. If it could break, it did.
