Great little car
Amazing power on hills for a 2.0L engine. My wife uses the Caliber for work and shopping. She averages between 29-31 mpg. Her Jeep Liberty was getting around 16-17 miles per gallon. She is very happy with the Caliber so far.

Very confortable for a small car.
I have averaged from 29 to 37 miles per gallon of gas and have been happy with the way this small four cylinder motor performs.

Small car for a big person
I am 5'11" and 270+lbs. I fit easily into this car and drive 40 miles daily to work. The automatic transmission is slow unless you use the transmission in the automanual mode, then it has a nice "pick up and go" feeling. I am getting >27mpg in this car on a mixed highway/local streets driving and with the gas prices hovering around 4.00/gal I love it.

Love my Dodge Caliber
I just bought my Dodge Caliber on 4-3-08. I really love it. I had a Dodge Stratus which was totaled & while shopping online for the different types of cars available, I came across the caliber & fell in love with it. There's plenty of room for 5 people. It handles great & I just love the "icebox" in the glove compartment.

Great Small Car and good mileage
We recently traded our t&c Chrysler mini van for a Dodge Caliper. We made 3000 mile trip recently and averaged 29 miles gallon in all kinds of conditions. We have a 2 liter with the CVT transmission and it takes a while to get use to. Great in snow.

As good as my wife's Accord
Purchased the 2.0L automatic version - seems to be the most poplar. Last new car purchased was an 03 accord EX. These cars are optioned almost identically. The Caliber rides better and is roomier. Power is not as good as the Accord but is MUCH better & smoother than the Toyota Matrix we test drove. Reliability is good so far & the Lifetime powertrain warranty sealed the deal

Caliber R/T, fwd, 5-speed...cool
runs good, 2008 has dark interior that looks way better than the grey stuff they had in 2007. Also, in R/T mode, almost everything comes standard now, like 9 speakers with sub-woofer, heated seats etc. Looks good on the road, rides great, 2.4 is smooth with the 5 speed manual. Has good pull across the tach range. Great, flexible car.
