Great Car

Top end of RPM range is where the HP is at with the 6.1 Hemi, bottom end is somewhat lacking but when it gets up in the RPMs it pulls and it pulls hard. Other than that I have no complaints with the vehicle.

A Sweet Ride

It is new age retro style at it's finest and is a quick car to boot. The Dodge Challenger is fun and exciting to drive. It is also surprisingly comfortable for long trips. I definitely recommend it.

Head turner, practical for trips

I bought this car to fulfill my lifelong dream of owning a muscle car. I have not been disappointed. The exterior styling is very reminiscent of the 70's Mopar muscle cars (somehow, it manages to remind people of the old Challenger, Charger, and Barracuda all at the same time). I have the R/T model, which boasts 375hp, with a 6-speed manual transmission. It's very quick in spite of being a very heavy vehicle. The ride is smooth, and it handles nicely. If my inner teenager wants out, I can spin the tires at will (under heavy acceleration, you can even chirp them in third gear). About half the places I go, if someone sees me getting out of it or into it in the parking lot, they'll come over and talk about it (and their own muscle car memories). The front seats are comfortable (I've never been in the back seat). The trunk is enormous...right after I bought it, we took a beach vacation, and I fit myself, my wife, and two of the kids in the car with everyone's luggage, beach chairs, and beach toys. I get decent gas mileage for what it is (16.7 mpg), compared to the trucks and SUV's I drive (8-14mpg). I drive it to work most days. Interior quality could be better - I removed a door panel to install a new speaker once, and the plastic screw cover broke immediately when I started to pry it off. The air vent closest to the window has broken clips, and sometimes works its way halfway out of the dash. Because the car is so large and you sit so low in it, it takes time to learn where the front and rear of the car are when parking. Also, if you park in an angled parking space, the rear pillar on the passenger side is exactly where it blocks your ability to see if anything's coming when backing out of the space. Also, because the car is so large, it's hard to get it inside a standard parking space until your practice. Those things aside, this is my favorite of all the cars I've owned (11 or 12 in my life). It may not fit someone looking for a car that doesn't have a specific preference for a large heavy muscle car that will haul a-- in a straight line, but if that's what you're after, I'd recommend the Challenger over recent model Mustangs and Camaros.

American Muscle With a Hint of Practicality

I've loved my car since the day I purchased it. I have owned it for four years now and it has never failed me in my travels. It's a great vehicle for commuting and it gets pretty solid gas mileage. Yes, the body is a lot bigger than a Mustang or Camaro, but I find that it can get around just as well. In the looks department it doesn't disappoint (unless your preference is otherwise) and its always fun to pull up next to other owners. All in all, it has been a great car and has served me well.

Challenger RT

Love it but electronics pricey to repair, be nice if they brought back the crystal pearl black paint color too.
