very nice car with lots of room

great Family car or in our case to haul two Labrador Retrievers. The vehicle is roomy, smooth ride , stylish, good gas mileage and very appealing.

Least reliable car i've ever owned!

Let me just start with all the things I LOVE about this vehicle. I've owned it for 2 1/2 years now, purchased Pre-owned with 1 owner, Certified. The interior and exterior of this vehicle is BEAUTIFUL. The leather seats are hands down the best I've seen and trust me I have test drove EVERYTHING from a Honda to a Range Rover. Door assist is hands down my favorite feature allowing me to easily lock and unlock the door by the handle. The bucket seats are great to allow third row access and the third row is super roomy. We have the Citadel loaded with Beats, chrome trim, tow package, HEMI and I WISH it drove properly. Here are the problems: Purchased certified pre owned with 32k miles: purchased Jan 2018 2 days later rear heating core went out 2 months later shocks went bad 2 months in noticed lots of sudden jerking when shifting into 2nd to 1st gear (approaching stop signs) such bad jolting I thought I was going to rear end a vehicle Into shop at 2 months, couldn't figure it out out of shop, 2 weeks later back in and repeat for 4 months until they reflashed the drive system - 0 improvements PCV valve replaced no changes to hard shifting at all finally switched dealerships - got in and was told entire transmission was bad - replaced tranny under warranty 2 months later issue returned sent back in reflashed system again 2 months later water pump went bad then noticed a ticking noise when we were on vacation - 500 miles into the oil change and it was empty - there is ZERO low oil indicator only a percentage chart that literally just counts down from 10k miles. Now I have to constantly check my oil and am doing oil consumption at the shop every 500 miles took in 2 months ago for hard shifting again, whistling noise while accelerating past 60 hard shifting so violently I called my husband to tell him he might have to come pick me up OUT OF STATE. Took into shop and they said rack and pinion were bad and replaced but nothing with transmission. Taking back this Monday to leave there YET AGAIN to hopefully figure out issue. I'm trading this fall before warranty is up and never getting one again. I want to love it - I do love it but the constant mechanical issues its had and i've only put 50k miles on it is UNCALLED FOR. I don't know how its so highly rated but I don't recommend one. Range Rover super charged or the GMC sierra are my options for next vehicles.

Love it

The outlets have helped me Express milk on the road. The remote start comes in handy heating/cooling before I put my young kids in the back. We keep the 3rd row folded down and the trunk has tons of space for suitcases, groceries, large strollers, etc. All 3 rows have their own climate control which prevents a lot of fights!

several Gremlins.

The Durango meets my needs. However there are many Gremlins! The Transmission keeps searching for suitable gears; so I use the Paddle Shifters! Also there are electronic issues! Such as strange things going on with the radio/Navigation! It just doesn't seem to operate correctly! Then there are the problems with the LED lights! Especially in the rear; they are not working properly, and they are very expensive to fix! Over $40.00 for a license plate light. And over $1,000.00 to fix the rear racetrack lights on the lift gate! You just cannot replace a bulb; you have to get the whole unit. Very expensive to own and maintain this Vehicle!

Solid vechicle (V6)

Drove every Suv out there available that year. I own a dosemeter. This was the most quiet one we drove only the highlander came close for interior noise but fell short. Excellent quality we got 30 mpg going through the everglades at 65mph.

Replaced 03 Durango

Big improvement from the 03 Durango we bought new. Smooth, stylish, roomy. You get a lot for your dollar with these Durangos. The V6 has as much power as the old V8 and gets 50%+ better gas mileage.

Durango R/T

Great cruising car. Great for trips. My wife uses as a daily driver. I use it for a grocery getter. Love the memory of driver 1 or driver 2 can set mirrors, Sirius xm, seat position for each of us when we drive. The auto slide back seat to get out, just love it so easy to exit.
