2014 Ford Escape consumer reviews

It is an excellent vehicle for commuting, running around town, driving people short distances. I own the 1.6L Turbo-Charged model and the power in the vehicle is content for that type of vehicle. It can move itself around. The rear leg room isn't magnificent, I am a tall driver so the rear passengers don't get a lot of legroom. The cargo space is great, plenty of cargo space to carry all type of camping gear. The cruise control with the 6-speed transmission make for flawless driving, uphill, across country or downhill(which is really up and down mountains). Purchased this car because it was what the fiancee wanted at because I didn't know what I wanted to purchase yet. Though I am loving this car for what it's worth and might steal it from her permanently as my daily driver. I like the Bluetooth capability and the sound that this car produces, very well for stock speakers. The only downside that I have found is (and I still haven't ran the SYNC update yet so it MIGHT be fixed) is that I have to tell the car to go to Bluetooth Audio every time I start it up. I wish that it would stay on Bluetooth audio. One last thing is the fuel economy isn't as great as it may have stated with EPA ratings but since I came from driving big V8's and big cars, I could floor it at every light and still get double the fuel economy I was getting with those cars so I can't complain there. Other than that I am thoroughly impressed by this vehicle and would recommend it to anyone looking for a crossover/commuter vehicle.

This car gets very good mileage and runs smoothly, it is very comfortable to ride in. Both front and back seating have plenty of leg room. Fold down seat in rear give you plenty of room to transport things. Quiet running and great air conditioning and heater.

Comfortable for a family of 5 very spacious and fits most of the needs wanted. Great customer service

Love my suv but need a third row of seats . We have out grown our Ford Escape. It worked before we had grandchildren now we have them not enough room.

This car is perfect for my sales job: lumbar support is a huge factor in comfort in driving, and also gas economy and the turbo charge gives it great zip. It is considered a mini SUV, smaller than a van but a very practical car-the zip makes it feel like a sports car.

This car meets my current needs. It's roomy, comfortable and drives well. It has the features I want and is a good value.

I love this vehicle. I have a 2007 Escape. It had almost 205,000 miles on it. I decided it was time to get a new one. I bought this at Custom Car Care in Decatur Indiana. The salesman was very nice and the financial department helped me purchase my very first vehicle. My husband has bought all of them in the past. So I was super excited.
