I love my 2018 Escape.

I love my 2018 Escape. I see 2 problems - the paint on the front surrounding the windshield just slid off and you see bare metal. I brought this to my dealers attention but they said it wasn’t covered and I’d have to pay for any repairs. Then I asked about the airbag recall and they said unless I had a problem I’d have to pay for them to check it? I’ve always just took my car to the dealer for recalls?? Never had a problem before ??? I’m a 71 year old woman and I’m wondering if this is normal??

This is my 2nd Escape in 12 years.

This is my 2nd Escape in 12 years. I drive for a living and I love feeling safe on the road. I've had no problems with this car. I personally have put over 400,000 miles on it in just 4 years. Take care of your car, and your car will take care of you.

Transmission is the biggest thing wrong with these

Transmission is the biggest thing wrong with these vehicles. Engine coolant inside the 1.5 l engine. No I would not recommend this vehicle. Nothing but continuous service repairs.

Bought a new 2018 escape with a 2.

Bought a new 2018 escape with a 2.5L,it now has 151,000 miles, other than 3 batteries that Ford replaced for free and $2,028.00 on brakes,4 plugs,2 coil packs and some front end work it has performed outstanding, kept the oil changed with Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and have had literally NO problems,I see it easily making over 200,000 miles.

DO NOT BUY A FORD ESCAPE!!!

I had a 2018 Ford Escape. The car was losing power and not running right. The dealership said metal got into the oil and the engine needed to be replaced. Only 74K miles on the car. Said the engine replacement would cost $13K. I will never buy another Ford. Now I see so many complaining of the same type of issue on the internet. How can Ford allow this to happen? Terrible company.

Overall experience is all good

Reliable, good on it's fuel mileage for being a 4wd compact suv. Fun to drive around in this styling vehicle. It has a nice quality looking interior design. Comfortable seats, heated and the rear seats reclining for comfort, and they fold down for that extra cargo space. Stereo is nice, comes with a cd player and other apps. These are nice suvs, they hold there value reputation really well.
