Best in class for towing

It's a work horse that never quits a job regardless of cargo demands, I carry cargo in back and still tow two horses safetly on all types of road conditions and cruise down highway at speed and can pass up hill no problem, this Ford is ready to last for 200000 more working Miles ,get it before it's gone, text me is best and I will call back TRIG

It can take the whole family which consists of Great Grandma, Grandma and kids and grandkids. It is great for camping trips too.

Always wanted one!

Love the size, the looks and options it has. Enjoy driving it very much. Plenty of room for me or to load things in the back. Gets through the rough weather with no problems.

Best vehicle that I have ever owned. Reliable

I have owned this 2000 Ford Expedition for about 12 years. Love the interior with third row seating, comfortable, and has been very reliable hauling our family of 6 around. It now has over 225,000 miles and still has the original engine, transmission, etc. It is 4x4 and still works fine. Haven't had to put hardly any money into it to keep it going other than regular oil changes, transmission FILTER & fluid, and coolant changes, along with a couple of coil packs and a gas cap. This is the most favorite vehicle that I have ever owned. It has the 5.4 engine (2 valves per cylinder - not the junk later 5.4 with 3 valves per cylinder that go bad with higher mileage). I liked it so much I went out and bought another one like it but was a 2001.

Oldie But Goodie

It was a good find at $2,500 with only 100k miles for a 16 year old car. I brought it to a mechanic who owns one himself and he fixed a few minor items and we put in a new battery plus added a trailer hitch all for under $500. He could not find any other problems. Now I learned that many of these SUV's are running well into over 200k miles. The only issue is cosmeticly with rust on the rocker panels which I am treating and covering with rubber. I had bought it to tow my boat but now may use it a a beach wagon and 4 wheeling at the beach. I bought it with great all weather Wrangler tires on it. Just took it out in 4WD at the end of our New England blizzard and it easily rolled over a foot of snow with no problem. I didn't think I would get so " into" this truck/ SUV but I love it and so reasonable to find it on Cars.com!

Super reliable and reasonable price for maintaince

Expedition has been the second best car we have owned. 1986 Taurus was the best. No magor repairs in 260000 mi. Only brakes ,tires, sparkplugs and a ingition coil. It ia a rwd and was used to tow / haul supplies around the ranch. It was bough with 33000 mi. Gas mileage was fair for a full size 4.6L Suv. It averaged 16-17 in combined driving. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Built like a tank...

A great daily companion. Feels big, yet drives small. Ford hit a homerun with the design and build quality. Toyota Sequioa copied from this design.
