Reliable GAS SAVER

Overall I rate this vehicle an 8 out of 10 for its dependability while being versatile for outdoors trips such as camping fishing yet still holds the luxury style for appearance. Wonderful gas saver with optional flex fuel intake .

Most reliable and smoothest driving car ever

This car is absolutely incredible with incredible amount of space on the exterior with a gorgeous V6 that puts out enough power to rival a V8 in a drag race on the freeway it?s an incredible commuter car but it also has lots of room to mess around in a be able to take off road and have lots of fun this car runs fenomaly and I haven?t had a single issue and I?m on 144,000 miles very little rust if you keep it nice and clean and in the garage it?s like driving your house around because of comfort but doesn?t fee like your driving a huge car and it?s very very easy to start speeding and not relize it so Keep and eye on the speedometer and don?t get a ticket it?s great for going out with friends and going to concerts or even going to work it has lots of room in the trunk and the ability to add more by folding the seats down and it also has something to cover your stuff up so people don?t see what you have this car drives incredibly smoothe and has incredible handling I 100% recommend this car for anyone wanting to have a good time with friends and also have a reliable way to get from school/work and be comfortable while doing it

Would not own again

The 2003 Ford Explorer 4.0 flex fuel 4x4 had way too many problems. I would not ever buy another Ford Explorer. It looked nice but not reliable.

Not a good car

Most reliable

Best vehicle I ever had. I had the white Eddie Bauer edition. I bought it used with 82k on it and didn't have issues until it hit 126k and like all explorers from that yearand the tranny went out. Despite that it treated me well. I'd give it all 5stars but Ford needs to fix that transmission issue. I highly recommend it but just watch out for the tranny.
