A truck that rides like a car.

I was so impressed when I took my Explorer for a test drive, the comfort and the smooth ride were beyond belief. I needed something that was big enough to pull my boat, yet still economical and easy on the gas. This vehicle is more than capable of Towing, while still being stylish comfortable and fun to drive.

Good car suspension adjust to driver.

I like it but the gas mileage could be better. It drives with a great deal of power and has all the 4x4 features I like. Great for my everyday commute.

My best suv, by far...

Its been my best suv, owned for 4 yrs, and always ran great. Have only done small repairs over the years. Love it. I am selling now to get a newer one, it will be missed.

I love my Explorer! 100,000 miles & beyond

The Explorer is a wonderful family vehicle. It's sturdy and dependable. The ride is smooth and quiet. It handles great. Lots of room for kids... and anything else! We have a tow package and pull our boat to the lake in the summer. It's great!

used ford explorer

So pleased with the cleanliness and low miles on this vehicle. I have a small sun roof, only things i don't like is no key less entry and interior color is tan. I prefer black or grey. She runs good!

Aging well

I got my 2007 in 2013 and have now 83,000 miles on it. The only thing that annoys me is that every 30k miles or so you get problems with the wheel bearings. Besides that the truck is aging well, no oil consumption. Gas milage on long trips is 19MpG and anywhere from 10-12 in the city. Lots of space.

Great power and versatility.

Very practical storage space and configurations. Smooth ride and good for long drives. Maneuverability is great for its size. Fuel consumption is very bad in the city.

Great all around

Purchased my '07 Explorer limited to replace my aging Jeep as the family vehicle. It has been very good to us so far. Compared to the old grand Cherokee it is almost better in every way. The 4.0 v6 has good low end power but could use more mid-upper rpm power. Mpg in town is around 16-17mpg, but highway gets into the mid-20's as long as I don't go over 70mph. The exterior looks phenominal one of the best looking suv's out there. The interior is a simple layout and everything easy to use and plenty of cargo room in the back. My only complaints besides needing some more power from the engine is the transmission is a sealed unit so fluid levels cannot be checked, the power outlet is in front of the armrest instead of on the dash which makes plugging in somethings a bit awkward & there is virtually no trunk space with the 3rd row up, but I didn't buy it for that just came with it. Other than regular maintenance it has needed nothing.

Always Liked Explorers

I had a 2005, but sold it. I just got this 2007 and I love it. It scoots, has four-wheel drive and has enough headroom for my 6' 6" frame. My only knock is that the mileage drops like a stone when the AC is engaged; vents or just windows are no problem.
