2016 Ford Explorer consumer reviews

Used several websites, but Cars.com was far superior to the others I tried. I looked within 100 miles from home and visited at three dealerships in the process. I found exactly what I wanted at a competitive price and experienced a very positive buying experience.

Great car. Have a 2006 that has been trouble free. Recommend both the brand and the model. Dealer was great to work with.

She's Perfect. Drives like a Dream! Comfortable inside and sleek looking outside. Very receptive and great for snow/ off road and smooth highway ride.

Really like this car. I've never been a ford fan, ever. But this one converted me. We're really happy with it and especially my wife.

Next to new condition for a used vehicle. Comfortable front seats. Sufficient leg room in front. Winter time heated seats are very nice to have. Never have had cooled seats. Didn't know they existed. It will be interesting to try them this summer. The exterior paint color and interior color are very complimentary. Back up camera will be nice in order to make sure there are no small items or people in the way.

Nice Vehicle with very good performance especially with it's get up and go at traffic lights and merging on highways.

Driving this car can be a little uncomfortable. There is not a lot of room to relax and straighten your left leg. The only other flaw, where the 2nd row bench seats connect to the vehicle floor, it looks unfinished. You can see the steel of the vehicle. You can see the padding under the carpet. There should be some covers over this or the carpet should cover the entire flooring of the vehicle. Also, you can see other unfinished parts in the cabin. For these reasons i have not purchased this vehicle. i did however drive it across country as a rental. If Ford finishes the interior and polishes...I would buy this suv.

This is a very comfortable vehicle at a good price. One annoyance is a baffle type noise between about 40 and 60 mph. Lowering the driver's window a bit does not resolve the issue. Does anyone have a resolution?

We purchased a 2016 explore love the vehicle at 1st then came burning smell they said it's some plastic from the factory that has to burn off? 5k miles Ayer same thing . 2nd rear trunk window does not open that sucks 3rd the worst be aware by the front center console where the set belt latches both passenger and driver do not stick your hand down there extremely sharp edges me and my wife were cut very bad it was brought into ford and they said it was fixed upon inspection before I left the service area I placed my hand to see and what do you know cut again minor because I knew it was sharp I brought it to the mananagers attention he checked another ford explore and same thing that's how it came from production be aware please

I have ford explorer sports 2016 .I love the the vehicle only i am facing problem with Dvd It is failure in ford.So my family cannot enjoy in long drive.when i went showroom they also said to me all ford vehicle dvd is like this. I don't no is it true or not.According to me ford service is not good.But I love the vehicle.only i face problem in Dvd player.
