A looker, but could use interior refinement for $$

Like the exterior look and ride. Interior could be refined a bit more for the money you spend on the upper packages (Limited). Front seats feel a bit small for the space given. Adding another 1" or so to the width would make it much better. Rides smooth thus far. Infotainment is a bit clunky, but that appears to be resolved in Sync 3 (2017). No 4x4 usage yet, but I am hopeful.

Soooo happy with my Explorer

I could not be happier with my purchase. I looked for months to find the perfect explorer with low miles and in excellent condition. I am so happy with my new car

details details details

I love this car except for the fact that the tires peeled.....i am not exaggerating ......peeled at around 10,000 miles. Ford didn't warranty them. Hancock didn't warranty them. The dealership wouldn't warranty them. My logo "Platinum" was upside down. The seat cover came undone immediately after I bought it. There is a rust spot on the front of the vehicle. I have been nonplussed by Fords lack of attention to detail. I will not be buying another Ford vehicle.

Ford 2017 Explorer Limited

Like the car, but the radio buttons are on the right side instead of the left and there could be a little more leg room in the rear passenger seating area (2nd row).

Happy with 2016 Explorer

Very surprised at everything on 2016 Explorer. Like the styling first time I saw it. Interior appealing, quiet and comfortable. All the accessories and gadgets are great. Hoping the reliability over the next few years will be as good.

owner of Ford Explorers since 1998

Have always bought Explorer XLS, now we have a Limited. It is beautiful. The ride is smooth, you do not hear road noises, the leather upholstery is plush, the placement of gauges and other necessary driving aids allow for driver to concentrate on the road, and leg room is beyond adequate. One of the great things is the electric third row seat turn under and the hatch closure they make life for this 68 year old owner and wife very easy. Thanks for the great ride and super car. Past Fords we have owned have gone beyond 200,000 miles, I believe this one will too.

Piece of mind

Quiet, smooth ride with all the space you need. XLT package with heated leather seats, is a must. You won't be disappointed.

Ford Explorer 2016 - Nice Ride

Great deal, nice features, smooth ride! We walked into the dealership to take a look around. The salesperson was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we we interested in. The features could not be beat and once we test drove it, we knew we had to have it. A good looking SUV with a smooth ride!
