Eye catcher

Nor had it long but we hope it performs as it rides, smooth gliding with strong motor. We purchased a 2016 Ford explorer platinum because of its interiors attributes, color, safety features and space. I hope we are able to enjoy it for years to come and always feel about it as we did when we first purchased it.

Fast and reliable

Love the car. It’s fast because it’s the sport. We tow a razor and a boat with it sometimes. Does a great job. Never have had a issue with it. We are going to buy the same car again but newer next time

Not a very good S.U. Vehicle

we bought a 2016 Ford Explore with only 33,267 miles on it and everything seemed ok at first but when summer rolled around and we decided to take a trip down south from Michigan we noticed some overheating about 3 states away from home and went to a Ford dealer that replaced the thermostat and all of the coolant after a full flush back on the road after wasting half of the day at the dealer. Now we are in the panhandle and picked up some gifts, etc to take back home pretty loaded now with gifts, luggage and a days worth of shopping. Same problem on TOP of losing power during some tall mountains we barely made it home after repeated stops to let this car cool down. We sold it immediately when we returned home and traded it in to go BACK to a larger car (like we had before buying this S.U. Vehicle. I don't know what the big attraction is to one of these but with 2 adults and 2 pre teen kids a car held ALL of us, got better mileage and has a tremendous ride on the interstates we will NEVER own or recommend an S.U. Vehicle to anyone.

Good car for purpose of family

I purchased this car new in November 2016, and had issues right away. First was navigation, the SD card has to remain in the slot to work, and it kept failing, have had to get 3 replacements so far. The drivers seat is too small or short, hard to explain - from back to back of knee is too short, feels like half of my leg makes contact. Car is very roomy, looks from the outside like it'll be small, however the driver "cockpit" area is very roomy. The 2016 model Explorer did not have Apple Car Play, however the same year model Edge did, I was disappointed that I had to choose room for family over technology that was widely available. Still am, as the car system it does have no longer operates optimally and according to dealers it is no longer supported. Sad that a merely 3 year old car's technology is no longer supported.

Really nice handling SUV

Feels like a big car but handles like a small one. Great ride. My only complaint is that Ford could do better with the audio/sound system quality.

Beautiful vehicle dont get the 2.3 liter

We love the explorer. It's a beautiful car and an amazing driving car. The 2.3 is just to small for the size of the car. We bought it used with 80,000 miles and the day after we bought it we returned it to the dealer to have a new transmission put it. We have the limited version and its awesome. yes it's not a perfect car but we love it.

First time Ford owner

Thought I wanted a GMC Terrain until I drove this car! I'm sold on the Explorer for comfort and style, but the EcoBoost is the best.

Moving to the high life.

This car looks 'classy', has lots of 'bells and whistles', lots of horsepower, very 'cushy' inside. Sadly, had to say good bye to our Jeep Sahara; she was not well. We'll miss her looks, but we'll enjoy the smooth ride, and cush of our Explorer.

This exployer is the nicest one that I have had by far. Very nice driving vehicle. Love the cooling and heated seats. Love heated steering wheel.
