2017 Ford Explorer consumer reviews

Only owned it for one week but so far has met my expectations. The styling is great and the interior is good however the radio is pretty bad. I can't believe Ford couldn't do a better job on station selection. There are six stations in each band and to go through all of them I have to reach over and change the band manually.

This SUV is exactly what i was looking for! It is so roomy and comfortable! The best thing is there is plenty of room for my grandkids!

Get the platinum if you can swing it. You won’t regret it. The options are well worth it. Beautiful SUV. Handles like a sports car. You’ll never need more horsepower. Very very comfortable to drive. Everything is at the drivers finger tips. I don’t think I’ll own anything but an Explorer from now on!

Great vehicle...a lot of legg room and great for packing the vehicle for a long trip.....4 wheel drive with a lot of bells and whistles

Love this vehicle. Very nice ride with all the amenities. Plenty of power with this V6. Very comfortable on long trips. I’ll definitely get my enjoyment from driving this vehicle.

Beautiful and comfortable. Yes, it was and still is our dream vehicle. We traded in an 07 for a 2017 and couldn’t be happier. It’s the Platinum Edition and it has ALL the bells and whistles! Glad we stayed with the same model. It was great for us for 10 yrs and have no reason to believe this one won’t last us the same!!

This is the second Explorer I've owned, and I can't be happier. In my opinion Ford use to have a pretty generic unattractive interior (dash specifically), but over the past 8 years or so, they have really stepped up their game. Modern design and all of the tech gadgets you would need. Super high-end look and feel without the sticker price of a Range Rover.

This car has it all - it's good looking, comfortable, practical, sturdy, has all the best safety features (some of which I didn't even know I existed). Hands down my favorite car out there.

This explorer is much nicer than the old truck I used to drive! So reliable, comfortable, and stylish! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a larger suv.

Its an ok vehicle. I purchased it i thought i would like it and its been a few years and its not perfect. Its had multiple recalls and it drives ok but i would not buy this vehicle again or recommend it to anyone.
