Great truck - 2007 was a good year
This is a great truck. Over 10 years old with nearly 100K miles and still running strong and looks great. Will keep for another 100K.

The most reliable track I've ever own.
Got my track in 2007 brand new and it's going on 13 year. Never have seen mechanic, except transmission fluid change. Using synthetic oil when reached 100000 miles, love it. Do my own oil change on time. Plenty of power, smooth, reliable and beautiful. Very, very happy with my truck.

Worst truck I've ever owned. I now own Chevy
Always been a huge Ford guy. I bought a 2007 ford f-150. Loved the truck for about 6 months after purchase, until....the sorriest and dumbest engineer failure of mankind took over. The notorious 5.4l 3v Triton xxx. CAM PHASERS AND TIMING AND SPARK PLUGS AND COIL PACKS. Then get this, the transmission selector cable sits right on the connection between the manifold and exhaust pipe! Had to replace it three times. While my motor skipped and jumped and choked out and smoked. What a huge pile of S#*T . So now I own a Chevy Silverado for the first time in my life I have bought a Chevy! Thanks Ford. I really believe you should have to make that up to us consumers but we know that will NEVER happen.

Car spent first week in the shop.
The exterior of the car, although dripping wet at time of delivery, was rather dirty. The air compressor had a faint buzz during test drive, which I questioned. A/C totally failed in less than a day.

Sharp low milage, exactly what I needed
Rustproofed, bed liner, clean both inside and out, and after repairs that exceeded my expectations, drives like new. We needed travel comforts for our Florida "snow birds" trips each year, and this truck has it all. Love it! I added Sirius music to the radio so we don't have to search for stations every few hundred miles, and the radio has great sound! A pleasure to drive, couldn't have asked for more.

car makers are getting Cheap!
Only had my Ford F-150 about 45 days (low mileage and previous owner took great care of it) but found front axle broke along with the two front springs. Had been inspected so it recently happened. Luckily I noticed front would go slightly to right when applying brakes even after a front end alignment. Cost over $1100. Use to be axles were solid steel but now the companies are trying to save money while charging more for the products by making hollow front axles, at least on trucks. Supposedly now made in China. And you know the quality of Chinese products!!! Really disappointed, angry and shocked that they would knowingly put peoples lives in danger for sake of a few dollars. Country is going to Hades. Can't trust anyone anymore! Love the truck but beware parts are not quality any longer.

My next "new truck will be an '04-'08 Ford as well
I'm a born Chevy guy. Always have been. Its just that when I was shipping for my current truck, I tried 5 dodges, 5 chevys and 5 Fords. The Chevys were limp wristed jokes, and the Dodges rattled like shopping carts. Thus, I ended up in an(2006) XLT Lariat, Supercab 4x4. I think that was 2011. Just some disorganized thoughts: 1-its now 2019, and the only thing on the truck that failed for reasons other than extreme abuse and/or neglect just happened. Its this silly little oil filter gasket. Ive got the same fuel pump, alternator, etc. I've blown up the transmission and broken many suspension components, as I have always carried #1,000 lbs of tools with me, and never take them out of my truck. Couple that with the incredibly bad Houston hopscotch motorists(Jam on the brakes.Jam on the gas, repeat) that I've got to drive through daily, and one would think that the truck would've ripped itself apart years ago. But no. I've towed overloaded trailers 2 hours up mountains in Flagstaff, 4, hours down (red hot brakes-I had to remove my brake fluid cap to allow a small amount to boil out), then cross the desert near the four corners in 110° heat as quickly as I could safely tow 10klbs. If150 disc brake return springsve run it for 48 hours strait to use my power inverter during Hf150 disc brake return springsarvey, and the list goes on, and on, and on. I have no reason too suspect that the meet ones have gotten worse, bit since the difference may be having a truck pay for itself once, as opposed to paying for itself like 5 or 6 times, I'm unwilling to take the risk. I wouldn't consider buying a newer or older version as long as this one is available.

Very good vehicle for work.
Always turns on and never had major problems only wear and tear. Paint never fails and it is 2019, rims are still chrome. Fuel is excellent.

Husband finally has a truck
Truck was exactly what we needed! Towing capability and just the right amount of muscle. We are getting established as a little farm and with the truck it makes farm life a little easier.

Well taken care of.
I have owned this Ford F150 since 2009. Clean Title. No accidents. Bed Liner with a Tuxedo Cap cover. Only towing I did was snowmobile trailer.
