My favorate vehicle i have ever owned. Dont pay attention to unfounded comments by EV haters. If you use your vehicle mainly in a 250 mile radius this truck is perfect. I charge at home once a week. If you typically take long trips, it may not be for you. Front truck is invaluable. I have 11000 miles, and have saved close to $2000 already over a F150 ICE version.

I have had my Ford Lightening Lauriet standard range for 6 months and about 12 k miles now. Great ride, no maintenance at all. Very quick. The Bluecruise is best on market (better than Tesla autopilot, I also own a Tesla). Forget towing any distance. But otherwise it’s a F-150 that costs roughly $0.07 per mile to drive when charged at home. Equivalent to 50 plus mpg with no oil, transmission,air, differential maintenance. As far as best Electric, I also own a Tesla Model Y Performance. Not even close. Control panel two wheels and stalks you have mastered Tesla in 4 hours. The ford is a bunch of knobs, stalks, buttons (many totally unnecessary like power button) trying to look like gas car. Which make the display an add on control annoyance rather than a control center. Do your research before road trips, don’t depend on Ford recommended stops and ranges. Some fast chargers truly fast and multiple bays. Some 1/3 of Tesla supercharger speed and single bay that may or may not be working. I have taken 1300 mile road trip. Did my charging plan. It was work. Again I am jaded as a Tesla owner. With Tesla, go anywhere follow there suggestions don’t even need to think about it. Flawless. For us as a Play Farm, daily commute vehicle we love the lighting. I listed some shortcomings which is a big part while sales of new lightnings are way down. Like my truck, but if could do over I would have waited for the Cybertruck or bought a Rivian.

My first EV and not looking back. Fully capable truck with interior luxury. Super quick, most comfortable ride ever in any truck and incredible technology. Ford did an amazing job with the Lightning.

This car is a game changer. I am a car guy and have owned both cars and trucks. This is the best I have ever owned. This thing is the fastest production F150 and it pulls like crazy (3.9 0-60). You hit that pedal and smoke anything on the road. Cost me less that $12 to "fill up" when charging overnight at home. Savings literally hundreds on gas every month. Always have range and never have to "fill up" outside the house unless I'm on a long road trip. In which case I can "refill" in about 30 mins, just enough time to use the bathroom and stretch my legs. Got from Philly to New Hampshire with just two charges. And the capabilities this thing has with it's pro power is crazy! We powered two food trucks for over 6 hours and used less than 15% battery. So much cheaper, less noise, and no bad smelling fumes compared to a generator. No regrets at all.

This is our 6th EV. Love this thing aside from the price. I’m torn on having a 300+ mile, suburban dad truck with insane comfort and acceleration and then the payment. I still have it if that says anything. I don’t understand why more folks aren’t buying these with new ones still on dealer lots. So many of us truck owners don’t NEED an ICE truck. I can’t tell you how many people complain about its towing and range and they don’t even tow and also have a second vehicle they can use for road trips. Just get an NEMA 14-50 outlet and use your garage as your gas station and get over it. Overall, price aside, it’s an absolutely great truck.

Great truck 2022 Lariat ER, exceeded all expectations. Range is not an issue, have not had any close calls yet. No maintenance issues- I have driven it 12k. I know long distance towing is an issue, but short trips, commuting, or around town it is great. A pleasure to drive! Great on the highway driving assistance is great at night, fog or rain. I have friend who own Ford trucks and gave me lip service about Lightning until they drove it-instant converts! They all love it.

Amazing truck, you do not feel any difference with full load, trailer, etc. Hauling max load did not effect range much, I did not notice at all. With ford 80A charger, home charging is super fast. Not recommended for long range towing but for in town towing and hauling it is the best truck you could ever have. Comfortable, quite, large interior, big frunk helps a lot more than you realize. Love the truck

100k for the Truck, It take me 18 to 20 hrs to charge at home from 5% to 100% Towing an aluminum trailer empty tongue low, range drops to 125. Towing an aluminum Trailer with 3k of weight, range drops to 90. Traded it in for a RAM 1500

It’s by far the best vehicle I’ve ever owned and it far exceeds my expectations of what I thought it would be. First off, it’s ridiculously fast. That wasn’t something I expected. What I did expect was a truck that drove like a good truck. It’s far more than that. It drives buttery smooth, quiet, and zesty around turns. It’s a truck that drives like a luxury car and a sports car, if that’s possible. Also, the interior is way better than my family’s Tesla (now sold). It’s roomy, my kids love all the features, and we love how nice and high quality everything is. The only complaint for by family was the regular long antenna, so I bought an aftermarket short one. My only complaint is the FordPass app. I think they can improve the functionality of it. Hopefully they do in the future with OTA. Besides that our truck is a 10 out of 10.
